you are a beast man ,what modifications did you need or did you installed it directly with no modifications at all, what about the electricity the gauges and other stuff ... i have a tb42 swb and im planning to swap it with the rb25det, i hope it will be easy to get it done what do you think ?

the rb bolts straight up to the 2.8 g-box and engine mounts, think for the tb u will need to move the mounts and change the g-box. The speedo is run off the transfer box so should still work and the other dash gauges can just be plugged back in

Hi, I have a 2003 (4 door) TESY61 Nissan patrol with a ZD30 (DDTI) 2953cc Turbo Diesel engine with intercooler, 4WDAutomatic transmission ( large bell housing ) Rebuilt engine twice in 4 years with original parts …… It was parked up for 2 years and when started recently it won’t idle I am fed up I want to swap for RB25 non turbo but not sure if it would bolt up without mods

The Rd diesel engines in the gq and early gu patrols are based off the rb engines, so the gearbox and engine mounts bolt straight up, therefore meaning that the 4wd is retained

My dad have this same patrol and I wish we could swap it with a rb or a 2j on it. Edit: my dad's patrol is the first gen, not the second one. Is this the first gen or not? I'm kinda confused.

But the only problem is. He doesn't want to do that, his business is buying and selling cars, he has to sell cars even if he doesn't want to sell some of his sick cars. Right now, he has two 6th gen Celica, he's planning to put a turbo on the other one just to have fun, his friend has a turbo that he's planning to buy so he can turbo the celica. And he has a widebody rocket bunny style ae101 corolla with a 4efte swap on it. But he has to sell those sick cars. Man, I wish he still has my favorite cars he have owned before.
