Hi! Thanks for the video! What about the four "audio output" holes in the back of the radios? Is ok to let them without any connection? Thanks again!
@baconbuttties3 жыл бұрын
Yes should be fine to leave the RCA connectors unconnected. They are used for external amps.

What radio model is it that you swapped ?

So you're not using the brackets from the Nippon radio? How does the new radio stay in place?
@baconbuttties4 жыл бұрын
I didn't show it in the video but the new radio has a cage and you take the cage of the radio and bend some tabs to secure it to the new fascia and then push the radio back in and it clips to the cage.
@petedelaney44404 жыл бұрын
@@baconbuttties - I'm trying to use the brackets. It was a right faff finding some screws and then I found that the fascia wouldn't sit properly. My previous Nissan Almera was a much better design.
@baconbuttties4 жыл бұрын
@@petedelaney4440 yes it is a bit of a rubbish design when they put these weird shape stereos in cars.
@petedelaney44404 жыл бұрын
@@baconbuttties - The only reason I decided to replace it was because there's no aux i/p. Both Nippon and Suzuki were totally useless in finding a solution.

@@baconbuttties I’m about to attempt the same and securing the radio is a concern of mine. I don’t quite understand the way you have explained it. Could you explain in some more detail? Would be very much appreciated

nice video...do you know the procedure to replace the dash speakers? in particular how to remove the grids
@baconbuttties5 жыл бұрын
I know the car I did the radio removal on only has 2 speakers in the dashboard but I have not done the speakers myself but I bet there isn't much room to get any great gains from dashboard speakers. I was looking at the front doors as there seems to be a grill there and the door may accept speakers? I'm just guessing here though.
@r3j05 жыл бұрын
@@baconbuttties i think the dashboard speakers should be by 10 cm (small one) but i don't know how to flip the grids. In the older model it was simpler because with a plastic screwdriver , you just flip the grids up. Anyway doors accept speaker up tp 17 cm

Hi, do you kjow where i can get spare prts for this model,im in malaysia and years back suzuki decide to cut ties and i got problem to get parts. Online buy prefer
@baconbuttties4 жыл бұрын
It's actually hard to get parts for this car in the UK and a lot of things have to be bought through the main dealer. The only place I have had luck with is eBay. Service parts are easy to get here but I needed an exhaust gasket and that was shipped from Poland.
