I concur. After experiencing the same problem (exactly as described in the video) for 3 winters in a 2004 Primera, it is incredible, but this simple solution works. I just put out the plug attached on the side of the lock, then put it in, and I never saw again the blinking immobilizer light and, of course, never again the gas pump was blocked. Many hearty thanks to both guys with their videos.

It worked for me :) The first time it was a bit hard for the car to start, so I had to press the gas pedal. But after that my car starts normally. (I probably had very little battery because of all the times I tried to start it.) Thanks for the fix!

Just did this now and it seems to have worked! I'll upload a video to my channel showing clearly the connector I had to unplug if anyone wants to see, but it is pretty obvious once you get the cover off.

is that the key fob that you have the one that came with your car? because the only time , I get that little red icon on the dash was when my key fob wasn't working. know I have got the stage where am I fingers have worn throw the rubber on the key fob and my fingers has dislodged the little nibble underneath the rubber , so now I can no longer lock or open my car, I have to leave the car open all the time, do you know where to get a replacement or any suggestions? hope you can help

You may find a security seal on top of the screws. On my car it was just some soft plastic which i pushed through.

Hello i have a 2005 Nissan 350z, when i put in the key, the car CRANKS but wont start, when i put in the key and try to start it, the NATS Alarm red light doesnt disappear..the red light stays ON.. After 20 attempts and 20 min unlocking the door, turning the key on and off the ignitation, etc, it will finaly recoginze the key and will start perfectly. On other days, the car will start perfectly and will disable the alarm all the time. On other days, i struggle trying to disable the alarm. What COULD this be?! Is it the Key or the NATS antenna amp , Body control module (BCM) or (IMMU) Engine Control Module (ECM??

+Azy Pervaiz at the back of the black box is a small white plug with several wires attached. Push this plug in as it can work loose and this causes the problem

I've got this issue with my Almera, the immobiliser light flashes then goes solid and the car won't crank. It eventually starts after about 4-5 attempts but I'll try this tomorrow and see if it fixes it for good!!

It was a while ago, but a small plug right behind the barrel. You might need a mirror and a torch to see it. Unplug it ad then re-plug it. Clean the ignition barrel with an alcohol wipe. Leave the plastic covers off. It is not working due to weak connection between key fob and ignition. PLEASE LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE :)

Do you have enough car battery power? Is the starter spinning? Is the battery in the remote fob good?
