Nissan R390 GT1 Race Car - The Car I want to RETURN to Gran Turismo 7

If I had to pick 1 car, just 1 to add to GT7, it would be without a doubt the Nissan R390 GT1 Race Car '98. As someone who started playing Gran Turismo games with Gran Turismo 3; the Mazda 787B, Toyota GT-One and Nissan R390 are 3 cars that go together in my eyes. With the 787B and GT-One already in Gran Turismo 7, all that's left is for the R390 to return as well! ...along with a lot more cars too, but for me, the R390 is the car I want to see the most!
This video isn't really structured. When scripting I just wrote from the heart, and tried not to cry (water star sign here). This video isn't really an argument as to why I'd like the R390 added, or reasons why it would be a good addition - it genuinely is me just talking about its history in the Gran Turismo series and why I like it. A nostalgia trip if you will.
Video might not be 100% flawless; between my job, my kids and adulting, I just don't have as much time to make videos like this anymore. But I spent a few weeks putting it together, so hopefully its not too bad!

This video is probably all over the place, but I'm just speaking from the heart....reminiscing over one of my favourite cars in the GT series. I know a lot of Gram Turismo fans want to see the R390 GT1 come back! So many of us grew up with the 787B, GT-One and R390 fighting for first in GT3. And they appeared in every mainline entry up to GT6. They've slowly been brought back, and now just 1 of the Holy Trinity is missing. Plz add the R390 soon Kaz :) I know people don't come to my channel for discussion videos like this, we're mainly about gameplay and those classic sounds, but I still like throwing a discussion video like this out every now and then! Hope you enjoy a trip down memory lane! 😊

Would love to see that one as well and I think there is a decent chance that it will still be added at some point. And thanks to the great livery makers out there we could then also get the black-red 1997 version and the green #33 car from 1998.

Wait, THE Paragleiber commented on my video!? Excuse me while I fanboy lol been a fan for years! Oh I'd definitely be buying several Nissan R390's to make custom liveries if it was added. Bought plenty of Toyota GT One's , NSX, Supra and GT-R GT500's for that very purpose.

@@solsticecity Yeah, I got all 8 GT500 cars from GT3 in my garage as well, lol. Still need to get around to recording some races with them. And wow, I didn't know that you were a fan. Have you commented on some of my videos before? Somehow people often tell me that they like my videos when they run into me on other channels but then the same people never say anything on my channel itself. And I am trying to figure out why that is. I wish I would get more comments from the people who actually like what I do and less comments from toxic people and idiots, lol. So don't be afraid to also comment sometimes when I show something that you like or have thoughts or anecdotes about. :)

I was actually about to leave a comment on your Evolution of Pit Stops in Gran Turismo video...until I was scrolling the comments and saw my brother had left a comment which was one of the top liked ones, so he's a fan too lol Well, you might notice me commenting on you're more now we've interacted. I usally find that's the case. And yeah, get my fair share of toxic comments...though usually I've posted an unpopular opinion about GT7 and I get all the stans coming my way. Typical internet.

We also want the PANOZ ESTPRANTE, and all the three Pescarolos, the GV5, the C60, and the other one that I forgot it's name a C60 HYBRID I think.

Yes, yes, YES! I was actually using the '05 one for the Indy footage. But I loved using the Pescarolo cars.

I really like the R390, but i also just really like LMPs in general, they should add it even tho i dont play GT7

yeah I wish they'd add more LMP's to GT7. The car choices they pick are often so disjointed. I'd be happy with an updated just dedicated to LMP cars.

Oh yes, I want both the '97 and '98 versions! The difference between them isn't as noticeable in GT2, just cause of graphics, it would be cool to see them both as high quality models in GT7.

The Toyota GT One and Nissan R390 were both in the same class being the GT1 class but the Toyota was well faster than the Nissan.

The cars i want to see make a return in gran turismo 7. Nissan r390 GTI road car, and race car 97 and 98. Bentley speed 8 lmp car 03. Audi R8 lmp cars. Pescarolo lmp cars. Peugeot 905 lmp car 92. Bmw v12 lmr 99. Toyota Minolta 89. And Nissan r89c 89.
