My Nissan Versa note is doing this but I hear stuff breaking I feel vibration in the gas paddle also 49k dealerships says warranty stopped at 36k

Hey, my 2011 Rogue S AWD has the same issue, not sure where to start. New transmission or try to get a cooling system in it???

this just happened to my friends Rogue , very dangerous. What is the fix hers has 160,000

Take it to the dealer ASAP. Cvt is being replaced at no cost until 2020 or 200,000 km. Our cvt just died and Nissan gave us a new transmission..scary stuff this clearly shows how bad the issue is. I changed the fluid and wasted $200 on Nissan cvt fluid, had nothing to do with the problem.

Hi, I have been having an issue for 2 years. The dealer will not help. I have made endless videos to show whats going on. Now I have 100,000 miles and Nissan will not do anything if the dealer can not confirm the transmission issues, no check engine verified is all they say. I showed the dealer at 89,000 on video that a semi almost hit us because we went from 70 mph down 30 mph. Now the vehicle stopped going up my drive way. How did you get Nissan to replace your?

same exact issue I'm having on my 2015 Rogue,4k rpm,it takes about 10 secs or more to get to 60mph,I'm not sure if Nissan going to take care of it since I bought the car from carmax,

Only under factory warranty which is 3 years or 120k on the cvt...flush the cvt fluid at the dealership. It swells in hot weather and goes into safe mode. I found it out after the fact. Must flush it every spring (only allow a Nissan dealer to flush) at $250 per flush....fluid has to be Nissan brand

Erjon Titi .....start with changing the transmission fluid. It needs changed about every 50,000 miles

bjdizz1987 Yeah I got this fixed. Problem is the CVT (transmission) in these cars suck. Basically, the transmission fluid overheats as there is no transmission cooler which causes the car to go into a limp mode, as you can see from the video above. If you google cvt and rogue, you will get tons posts with people having this same problem. Luckily Nissan acknowledged the problem and extended the warranty on the CVT to 120k miles. We had 119k on our car, took it to the dealership and demanded a new CVT. Dont let them tell you otherwise.
