Hey america designed the ka24e piece of shit sohc makes like under 80kw.,, hahahahahhahahahahhahahahah who made the decision to sell the '240sx' in the US, must have had like 100,000 spare ka motors... or the sr20de(t) was just too technically superior for the US market... lol Serves you right for not using the metric system.. I think that' why nissan decided not to export any of their good cars to the US.

Jez Fumbles Nissan decided to not have sr20s here because they would have to make them pass emission standards and the ka24 already passes emissions. So they slapped it in the 240

The American version hasn't come with anything since 1993/94. And you can buy all that stuff. And a turboed KA24DE makes more power than an SR20DET. :)

thats actually very true the KA is 2.4l and the SR is 2.0l and when you turbo the KA and also upgrade to the BRIAN CROWER internals the motor is pushing over 350hp that is with a good tune of course

Those were all kouki models. You can tell from the wing in the back, the wheels, and the round rear lights. So I figure this video is from 97 or 98 because those were the last years of the kouki (zenki 89-93, chuki about 94-96, Kouki 97-98). May the 180SX be remembered. One of the best S chasis cars to come of the assembly. So popular that it outlived it's coupe form and stuck around til the S15. Sugoi ninki ga aru...mada

The S13 was produced after 1994 in Japan. I believe they were still produced up till 1996/1997. Check Ebay Japan, you can find later years of this Chassis.

while im all for the jdm bro we actually have a very reliable setup for the 240sx. the Kade/Kae is insanely strong in all areas exept for the aluminum pistons and paper thin piston rings. the hatch and coupes (s13) came with cams that have a good top end which helps with a torque low end power engine it responds well to lots of upgrades and has a good potential.

Until you realized that the KA24DE could handle 350hp on stock internals...and costs less to build. Not only that...but it actually makes TORQUE :O much love for the Blacktop...But you better respect a good KA24DE....It was one turbo away from being a timeless engine.
