Lovely video. I enjoyed the banter with the Backfire guys and just the different perspective you had on the event. I generally find drag strips the most boring element of the car scene, but this was structured well and stayed interesting instead of just showing countless runs. Stock cars are built to STAY fast rather than accelerate well so it makes a lot more sense to challenge it with the Chaser than the pure "on paper" figures would suggest. Indeed, if he'd had a bad run and you a good one, it definitely could have gone the other way. Any plans to get the Chaser on a dyno and see what it's real power is?

They are built to run at high speed for a long time. They run hot because big cooling systems are unnecessary weight/complexity and it's not a problem when there is a ton of air flowing through them at 180mph+
