They are experts and know this. There must be a weak link somewhere and that’s why they decided to keep it 6psi to be safe.

@@DarrelllCampbelll It's not the exhaust, it's the engine itself! The VK56VD runs a high compression ratio so and higher boost pressures would need re-build of the engine to cater for it without catastrophic consequences.

does this kit work with the XD? I know there are differences in the cooling package. Also, how does it do under continuous heavy towing? I tow a 16.5x8.5x7 (interior dimensions) trailer that weighs 8900lb pretty much constantly.

6lbs is relatively low. I'm confident this is just to dial & tune for street manners. It's capable of a lot more, but probably with some driving trade-offs

I'm sure with a header, exhaust system and a free flow intake system upgrade with tune, you could get mid to high 500 whp which is plenty for a truck imo.

OK this is awesome but you could even go up one more level.... Switch out the 2.9 gear in the axle with the 3.3 gear from the XD... Now put on the super charger. Would love to see that 0 to 60 time

Put a Holly throtal body on it. The factory one is way to small and the engine starves for air non stop and while trying to suck up more causes it to suck up bunchs more gas.

It looks like a 2" lift or maybe just 1.5" on the front to level. They're stock tires with what also looks to be 1" spacers.

How do they run these without blowing the trans or the motor i keep reading on the forms that the insides of the motor become the out side and that the trans cant handle the power. What do you have to upgrade to be able to run this and have it still last?

Unfortunate truth is that if you want your vehicle to last as long , you need to keep it stock and replace parts with only OEM parts.

the titans don’t handle power well if it’s not stock it will break eventually only mods you can really do is intake and exhause

34% power increase running only 6 PSI is about what you would expect from a supercharger application like this. It's making 540 horsepower at the crank.

I know this is old but you also need to keep in mind that this is the only mod. Start adding the usual stuff (headers, intake, etc) and you could make a lot more. Could probably nearly double the boost with minimal change as well. This is a solid option.

Dang that is terrible guys. What's holding this system back? Fuel? That blower is easily capable of lifting the heads. 8-10 psi is not out of the norm. Can the 5.6 not handle it or? Own a 2021 looking for tunes, power increase... Coming from the Ford realm this is low on the power side of things especially since the same unit produces 650+ with no sweat.

Nice but its not worth the 11k. You can just buy a 2017 Ecoboost F150 they have 400hp almost 500ft torque or a 2015 or up dodge ram 5.7 do a cam/tune and some srt headers all under 4k and have about 450hp and 500ft torque

Thats horsepower to the rear wheels, not at the crank. Manufacturers measure crank hp, not hp to the wheels. Those numbers at the crank are over 500hp. With only 6psi of boost thats not bad. Plus running only 6psi of boost means the engine will still last.
