There is a much easier way. Right at 1 minute mark just to the right of the tab, in the video, you see a screw in the background. Remove that screw and a second one all the way on the opposite side of the glove box. Then open the glove box and there are 3 more screws across the top. Then pull out the entire glovebox assembly. So much easier.
