Also you have to think that at like idle you have to make sure that tensioner is staying out far enough to keep the chain tught at like idle rpm or low rpm

Could it be that you didn't preload the oil tensioner like two clicks forward when installing the new one

Dude does sloppy work. He just did this same job 12K ago and there's oil and gunk everywhere, I call bootleg mechanic. Have some pride in your work, my customers always get there repair done and assembled back to factory condition.
