I have to pull my SR to see what's going on - compression/leak down numbers were not too good, so may be sourcing parts soon once it's out and torn down.

Just picked up a FX50 to replace my Murano which was totaled from hitting a deer. Runs great but 1st gear slips on engaugment once every morning when pulling out of my driveway when its cold. Are you guys still able to get replacement transmissions for me?

Nah, those are long discontinued. Every company I know of that was remanufacturing them stopped. Not sure why.

You can always take your starter to a competent alternator/starter rebuild shop and get it rebuilt.

This will give people incentive to tune in next week to see how both they and he did. Sure we could go look it up, but that's no fun. Also per Tom's comment about Dylan...
