Nissan USA might even want to consider making Titan its own brand similar to what RAM did and separate the people that think Nissan cars are unreliable. Put all the Vans under a “Titan” brand name as well as the frontier. This is something to at least consider doing. If this one sells, I’d do that and if it sells well a second or third year, bring out the HD Titan. The problem is that Nissan needs to do something different to separate itself from the competition, if you guys are the only foreign company to make an actual HD truck and not an “XD”, people will at the very least try it. Make the warrior, Nissan is full of great ideas executed too late, grab certain parts of the market before anyone else does and the Titan will sell.

kerktam Chevy needs some interior updating, a lot actually, exterior looks great though. Ford is just an ugly looking truck period unless you go all the way up to the top trims like the Lariat or Limited. GMC, they are nice all around. I could definitely do GMC...

I have a 2021 Titan SV and I must say, I love my truck. I had an issue with the battery, but Nissan came through with that great warranty. It meets and exceeds everything I wanted to do with this truck so far..the financing options are great as well.

That baja storm pro 4x is B-E-A-Utiful! And you know what's pretty terrible to think is that if one of the big three were to have sold this first and changed nothing but the brand from Nissan to ford or chevy ect, this thing would sell like wildfire. Americans are very wierd when it comes to trucks, the competition is extreme and most sales are due to us being very loyal to our associated brand. Not even because it's a good one at that, just becoase "thats what all my friends have.. that's what grandpa had.. and his grandpa... and so on it's almost a social stigma at this point. And I'd dare say this is more american of a truck than most! Its complete eye candy! It's an extremely capable overlooked and underrated pickup truck that's being held back because of Nissan's hardships with the american market. I hope this titan is a success because I know theyve put in a ton of work improving things and actually listening to what their customers want! And I mean who can beat that warranty!?!?

Best looking truck inside and out. Good Job for not overdoing the interior. First truck that I actually like the interior. Ford to blocky, Rams to luxurious(overkill), Toyota ok, and Chevy to bland. Nissan interior has perfect balance, not to much not to little. Looks GREAT!

Interesting considering most of the Titan's exterior design elements are stolen from the 12th gen F-150 - from the head and taillight shape to the big-rig sloping front window armrests - and the interior is almost a direct copy-paste of the 13th generation F-150 but with the air vents rotated. That's what got me interested in the Titan. It looks like my F-150 without actually being an F-150... which everyone and their mother drives an F-150 so the Titan is more 'cool' and 'unique' in that regard.

Nissan wouldn't have time to "steal" ideas and then re-test all these new design elements within a matter of a couple months. Just not feasible in that short amount of time.

@@dave3682 I'll agree with you on the dipped belt moldings near the side view mirrors. That is borrowed from ford, but it also increases visibility. The tailgate plaque thing is also very fordy. But I dont see the 12th generation ford looking like a new titan. The 1st gen titan had similar tail light shape to the 2nd gen titan.

Agreed 100% and that 5.6L Endurance V8 will out muscle the 5.0L Coyote V8 in the F150 but it'll even wayyyyyyyyyyy outlast any overpriced Ecoboost vehicle that Ford makes with ease.

I brought my 2020 Titan in to Benton Nissan Of Hoover 2 weekends in a row at 7 am. The 1st time I brought my truck in I was told they couldn't do anything about my transmission since there's No Remedy yet, I'll just have to wait till it drops out of the vehicle vehicle and they couldn't fix the wiring to my driver side headlight because their technician wasn't in. SO I was scheduled again to have them fix the wiring to my headlight 08/07@7am. I get there and am Told they want even look at because (I put in an after market headlight) the headlight isn't the problem, it's the wiring! I was told they WILL NOT LOOK AT MY TRUCK and I have to bring it somewhere else! Wait, What?!! So now Nissan will not even assist me Now! What kind of service is that, I'm lost for words and the ones I want to say, you do Not want to hear!! Very Disappointed in NISSAN as a whole!

Unless you get a 3/4 ton like an F250 with an 8 foot bed but new trucks are all a maximum 6.5 feet bed. The XD Titan has a bigger bed over the standard Titan as well as a heavier frame.

@@jmgaming1224 2nd gen Titans don't exactly have a reputation for reliability. Consumer Reports gives them 1 out of 5 stars and Nissan reliability, in general, has gone down the toilet after they started parts sharing with Renault. The Ram isn't reliable long-term, true, but most Titan reliability complaints are before 60k miles. Yikes! In short, If reliability is the deciding factor in buying a half-ton truck get a naturally aspirated Ford F-150 or a Toyota Tundra. As a general rule of thumb, though, less moving parts generally equals better reliability. On paper, the most reliable half-ton pickup truck you can buy is a naturally aspirated v6 4x2. Those are the kinds of trucks that fleets tend to go after because they're generally the most reliable and cost-effective.
