Amazing. Gd did pull you out of darkness, and danger. I'm a baltchuva, I have a similar past. I felt that going to Crack houses was exciting...until it wasn't. Until I almost got killed. I thought I had friends there, but sadly not. There were good black people who helped me , like even asking me why I was there, and one lady told me those people are evil. It was a long conversation we had, but unfortunately I think was the impurity was attached to me, I was drawn there, but, yes I had a gun pulled on me, someone cut my power steering hose I almost got killed in a car accident, I was given bad drugs for bad reasons, but Gd wanted me back, to live as a bas Yisrael. It was extremely difficult. It still is, but I keep going. I know also the shma Yisrael prayer saved my life in one particular situation. Gd wanted you to live as a ben Yisrael. Gd is the most powerful. I do give you tremendous credit. I know about that life. We should all be zoche to see Moshiach.
