Calicut CSE is good..go for that..but you could also get NIT allahabad cse...which was better i think... But you will get same opportunity..so dont worry about that

U could get better in MNIT Allahabad.... But its ohk now... Fine for uh...if you can improve you skills in coding and programming... Lower branches placements are quite low.....

Bro EEE and ECE are also good at packages too (nitc) , but if u truly want cs so u can go for little bit lower college ( dont go too low ) Branch change: If u get different branch ( not cs ) then u have to study bit harder to maintain the CGPA (around 9.2- 9.5 ) to change your branch. Also different college has bit different Branch change rule then u have to consider that too. But i will suggest go with CS in good college ( as u get in jossa ), Because with that branch u can get highest package of your college. I think..you are getting far more better branch...at NIT Silchar by home state quota.... May be CS as I am guessing... So without any doubt ..join home state NIT Silchar....dont go for...NIT calicut civil..... Without 1% doubt...go for nit silchar... Last year closing rank was 3850 for home state obc cat so u have to score more than 220 to 230 appox, at least score 200 marks in bad scenario

No..not at all... everyone knows English in college... Outside the college most of the people knows Hindi as well... If someone doesn't know..both the languages( very rare )..don't talk to them much..simple...😅

Both branchs are good, but civil is bit over rated, but if your aim is to get a good Salary government job then civil has little advantage here. Otherwise placement wise both are near to each other.
