I want to thank Oriental Star Agency for hunting , researching and finally bringing out such very rare live performances of perhaps one of the best artists of 20th Century. Nusrat saab according to me took Kawali and Sufi to a level , where today its recognised worldwide. Hundreds are reaping the fruit of his labor. But he was the original pioneer. For me NFAK is happiness, sadness, meditation all rolled into one. No two of his live performances are the same. If you perform hundreds of time live, can you imagine the amount of originality it takes! There will never be another like you Khan Saab. Much love from a Bengali and even more love from an Indian.

I had listened Nusrat Sahab live almost 10 times in his life. The last time in Aug 1997.when I and thousands of other people's were waiting for Nusrat sahab in Lahore dataa Sahib Urse celebration. we were tired of to waiting, that suddenly announcer announced about the death of King of Qawwali.
