There is nothing I dont like towards nita, her music, and-or her politeness. Her responces are funny, when asked a question. She also tells it like it is, and-or was during any past experiences she's had. Ive attended her shows twice, her effort, also her caring towards her believers is tremendous. I heard she was quite a gymnast in her childhood as well. Which I truly believe, she's a hand full on stage, all meant in a good way with her mobility/effort. Alice probably has to make her take a break, all in good fun.

Miked by Mike Plotnikoff who has worked with Van Halen, Kiss, etc - assume it is the same guy? The production and mixing on this is a little rough and as others have mentioned the guitars get buried in the mix at times especially with the loud overkill drumming. Overall 'Controlled Chaos' is a GREAT debult solo album! Just shame the production and mixing wasn't top notch if the actual recording wasn't the best I expect Mike was limited to how he could make the final mix sound. Regarding producing here is an excellent quote : ''when producing an album you don't dingle with the dangles if your name ain't bojangles, akin to adding pickle to a sandwich then saying it would have been better with mayonnaise so at the end of the day recording is a process you can either go through a revolving door trapped in a sea of farts or you can pass through it once and come out the other side.'' - Steven Damacque

Another awesome song we have here; I love the fact that it starts with a lovely piano introduction right before we go Full NEOCLASSICAL on this piece, and please don’t be mistaken, Nita’s definitely no Yngwie because unlike him, the way she uses her arpeggios is much more tasteful & EPICALLY melodic

umm actually she produced it with her laptop.... and drummer did the mixing. So 0 cost for production and i think since he mixed it the drums are more prominent. not bad but from a guitarist's prespective the drum mixing is kinda bad since it is more prominent than guitar. but hey it's her first solo album and there's a first time for everything :D

I want to like it, because I'm stoked for her in so many ways. She's stunningly beautiful, but she's obviously worked hard for her body & put a lot of practice in on the axe instead of just being some dude's trophy girl. But I just can't hear any PAIN in the music, y'know? Everything sounds... calculated to "sound metal." But it sounds so processed & lifeless...

Agreed, she can play good but there's no catchy hooks like Satriani, Vai, or Loomis. Endless shredding with bland rhythms doesn't have lasting appeal.
