Written by Lydia Njeri, a close ministry friend to Reuben Kigame, back in the year 2000, this song is drawn from Psalm 121 almost verbatim. Reuben has been arranging many of Lydia’s songs since 1997, and this one is no exception. The song originally appeared on the album “Ombi Langu” released in 2002. Working as a radio presenter in Mbeya back in 2011 I remember two Kigame songs this and Tulia brought me to my knees with tears running down my cheeks while overwhelmed amazingly with the Holy spirit power in the studio it's when I came to realise that this servants' songs are anointed.
