Hare Krishna Dear Nitaisevini Mataji. I want to say that I always love listening to your lectures. You are one of my very favorite . But one point: This idea of getting someone's bad Karma and losing good Karma to someone is not our Gaudiya Vaishnava Siddhanta . I have never read this in Srila Prabhupada's books You can loss your good Karma by committing Vaishnava Aparadh. Yes this is true When devotees suffer it is the mercy of the Lord. Another point is that bad situations may come into a devotees life due to the Time factor and not because of bad Karma. Yudhistir was thinking after the battle of Kurukshetra that he should atone for All the bad Karma he had accumulated from the war. However, Bhisma while living on the bed of arrows told him that this war had come upon him due to the Time factor and not bad Karma. Time being the representation of Krishna. So Bhisma told Yudhistir : Don't think in terms of good or bad Karma Also Srila Bhaktisidhanta Saraswati Thakur Srila Prabhupada famous qoute: Those favored by the Lord find their path covered in torns Also Srila Radhanath Swami says that the Lord places his devotees in suffering condition like the Pandavas were placed in the forest for 14 years . The Lord places the non-devotees in luxury like Duryodhan . Why? Because by suffering the devotees become Humble, tolerant, kind ect. By luxury the Demons like Ravana , Hiranyakasipu, Duryodhan become proud , arrogant and far removed from the lotus feet of the Lord Also Queen Kunti invites Calamities in her life. Because due to these Calamities her remembrance of the Lord increases and her love for the Lord increases Non-devotees like Ravana acquire material prosperity through Austerities. Devotees are looked after by the Lord. The Lord carries what the devotees lack and preserves what they have Please forgive me if I am speaking to forcefully.
