Even if the voice over and acting lacks emotions and a bit off. The editing made it great. I salute the editor for giving so much effort on this. Share ko lang Most of the time hindi kasalanan ng mga VFX artists at editors kapag ang gawa nila ay hindi maganda, ang may mali ay ang sistema, tipong ishoshoot sa umaga tapos sa gabi kaagad ipapalabas, yun ang dahilan kung bakit kahit mga malalaking kumpanya na eh kapos pa rin ang quality pagdating sa effects at kung ano pa. Isama mo pa ang maliit budget na inilalaan para sa mga nageedit, talagang walang mailalabas na maganda. Kaya mahirap din icompare ang atin kumpara sa ibang bansa, dahil sa kanila, malaki ang budget, hundreds ang nagtratrabaho/nageedit para sa isang film or series, at malaking oras pa ang ibinibigay sa bawat isa. Marami rin namang magagaling sa atin, sadyang naiipit lang talaga ng sistema. Ang pageedit ay hindi biro, it takes time, creativity, and logic. Kudos to the whole team and the editor btw, halatang napaghandaan at pinagtulungan

@@ladyartemis3232 Sa pelikula naman, kaya kadalasan cheap ang dating ng effects natin, kasi hindi rin talaga kalakihan ang budget na ibinibigay (dagdag mo pa yung kakulangan sa tao). Kung ikukumpara na rin natin, ang tiktik ay nasa 80 million ang budget, at ang avengers endgame naman ay nasa 17 billion, sa budget pa lang malaki na ang difference. Tignan natin yung mga commercial natin, katulad ng TVC ng Max's yung about alienation, malinis at maganda ang pagkagawa kasi malaki ang budget kahit na ilang minuto lang, malaki din ang oras na binigay, at naiplano ng maayos. Yun lang naman ang sakin :) At para sa mga nageedit dyan, wag natin tipirin ang sarili natin kapag tayo'y nagprepresyo ng mga gawa natin, bigyan natin ng sapat na presyo, wag nating tipirin kesyo pamilya natin ang nagpapagawa o kaibigan, wag tayo mahihiya na humingi ng malaking bayad kung yun naman talaga ang nararapat sa gagawin mo. Kasi kung patuloy tayong magiging ganyan, bababa ng bababa ang value nating mga vfx artists at editors, titipirin tayo ng titipirin. Let them know na mahal talaga ang pagpapaedit at ang paggawa ng visual effects, hindi biro ang pagupo sa harap ng computer at pagiisip ng matagal :D

Hindi naman lahat nadadaan sa special effects. Yung "Parasite" ng Korea hindi naman effects centered pero ang ganda pa rin at marami pa silang films na walang gaanong effects pero critically and commercially successful. I could give a ton of films from lesser known countries na ang writing, editing and directing is top notch at may magandang reviews at kumita din. Meron tayong mga indies na kayang makipagsabayan kung critical reception ang pag-uusapan pero kung kumita ba o kilala ng masang Pilipino is another story. Ang kulang natin ay producers na susugal sa mga up and coming film makers natin. Hindi yung mga producers na gaya ng Star Cinema, GMA Films, sila Mother Liliy na romance, drama, comedy and horror lang ang kaya iproduce kasi safer option yun at alam na kikita. At ang pinakamahalaga ay suporta ng masa. Remember when MMFF switched to more indies a few years back? Di ba grabeng backlash ang nareceive nila sa tao? Ibig sabihin ang tanggap pa rin na medium ng masang Pilipino is yung kinasanayan na whether it be films or tv shows.

At yung Parasite talagang panalo ang pagkwento at kung paano nai-execute, isa yan sa mga films na paborito ko. Pero ayun nga ang pinopoint ko lang naman sa comment ko sa taas ay kung bakit kadalasan low quality ang dating ng mga effects ng ating mga pelikula o mga teleserye, ang dami kasing bumabatikos sa mga VFX artists at editors natin dahil ang nakita nila ay hindi maganda, ang hindi nila alam ay nagigipit talaga sila kaya hindi nakakagawa ng maganda. At ayun nga nasanay na rin kasi ang ating bansa sa rom-com at drama kaya mas bumebenta talaga yung mga films na nasa genre na yun, isama pa natin ang paggamit nila ng bigatin na artista. Isa rin talaga sa kailangan natin ay ang suporta ng bawat Filipino sa ating mga pelikula, para patuloy tayong lumago at mahawakan ang iba't iba pang genre mapa sci-fi man at iba pa.

How the scenes taken was so cool! skilled editing combined with flawless transition. There's so much potential in this. Work more on rendering the dubbing. This can compete if you work on more on how dubbing matched perfectly to the correct expression of emotion (how characters act). Also change the bg music to a more dark historic or feudal theme. Aside from that, everything was satisfying. Your parents must be proud of you. Goodluck!
