Just got one last week. Crazy bright and relatively comfortable to wear. Attracts every bug around it's so bright. A little annoying when they are landing on my face, but it's great for walking around the backyard at night.

What would of made this perfect as i try to get my best friend away from cr123s and conventional AAA/AA is a conversion to use an off the shelf battery. I bought 4 of the grey version, with 4 batteries. Great point about the pouch in the case for the user manual, and the extra backup battery.

@@CharlesBridgTec Are you getting 2 hours on turbo? My plan is to make a bike handle bar mount I am just trying to get an idea of what the dimensions are. Would the beam pattern make for a good bike light?

Turbo will not stay for two hours. It will cycle down a bit due to heat and stay at that level.

makes one wonder whether flashlight development has basically exceeded practical need. I would like to see more advanced batteries being used mainly to extend run time, which is akways a plus, rather than fuel ever increasing and very blinding light intensity. Very impressive run times on this light, but does not seem to fill a practical need. feel rather ambivalent about it.
