lol, a lot of those "cheap secondary show market" kits don't have all the parts still in the box, or they've been started, painted, etc., which requires finding replacement parts or stripping paint off parts and bodies. All that glitters is not necessarily gold. If the going market price for a given kit is $35 and you run across someone at a show offering the same kit for $25, you best beware.

To say nothing of the two real "dangers" of cheap original kits. Completely shot decals and tires melted into the glass, body, or completely into an oily gooey mess in the bottom of the box.
