Hey Great video, can you please tell me what happens if the Monster player has a monster card whose lowest damage range ( 0-4 roll deals 1 damage ) then when he rolls his two dies he rolls 1 and 2 (Total Roll of 3 that would deal 1 damage) but then the hero player taps the ability frost wand you used in the example ( -4 to monster roll ) making total monster roll -1 ... My question is are negative numbers legal can the roll be less than zero ... because if it can then the monster attack will fail, otherwise if negative total is not legal this monsters attack will never fail and always deal at least 1 damage ... we had these arguments and the rulebook does not state if the roll can be less than zero ... Thank you

Hi, the rulebook doesn't help, that's true. :) However, the response I got from the designers is that the final Combat Value CAN go below 0, in which case the monster wouldn't deal any damage. :)

Is there a clear rule that says what can be modified with Gars and clovers? For example, There are many situations you need to roll dies, when attacking, checking shield healing, barrier, Chalemging Elementals, and so on ... can everything when rolling as Hero be modified with Gars and Clovers ( Clovers on skills as well as those from earth elemental essence ) ? let's say I am playing Ael character and She has a treatment skill requiring Hero to roll a dice to see the amount that will be healed ... can Gars and clovers be used on this skill as well same as when attacking? Also, can die be modified with gars and clovers when challenging Elementals ... thank you in advance

Hi - yes, anytime you do a "Hero roll" you can use Gars and Clovers. :) So, basically almost anytime. :)

So the combat overview took about 25 minutes, how long would you say an actual combat in the game usually takes? Great video btw!

Thank you! Well, actually the combat can be very quick, with a good first strike it can be just one minute. With some 2 combat rounds it's usually within 3 or 4 minutes for us. In the tutorial video, I have to demonstrate and verbaly describe what has to be done (and why), but in the actual game you just use a token and play a card for instance - that's 2 seconds. At least in the first half of the game you don't really have many items or abilities to choose from so it's pretty straightforward and quick.
