Good job. But one important point he missed is that these are highway lane kilometers, meaning 3 lanes of 1 km are counted as 3 km, so if you have to get only the highway km, you have to divide them by 2, 3 or 4 depending on the number of lanes on the highway.

i dont think so , this was already clarified by the govt previously . look at the data . . if u divide 146000 kms by 3 it comes out to be around 50K only. these are actual length figures irresective of 4 lane or 6 lane or 8 lane roads.

Request Honorable Road Minister to personally check the conditions of roads in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Maharashtra. Still in 21st century we are not able to make roads that will last for 5 years. Roads repaired before monsoon are in pathetic condition by end of June. Imagine what will be condition of road till the end of monsoon in Maharashtra. On toll plaza I get to so many poor and beggar car owners who own costly cars but have no money or willingness to pay toll. I'm sick of such car owners as they cause jams, ruckus on tolls, delays and frustration. Govt must not allow any toll-free transists, rather subsidies /credit the vehicles those actually qualify for toll-free. RFID or fastTags can be used for tracking these subsidies /credit the vehicles.

stop spreading misinformation. gadkari 's expertise goes back to the era of mumbai pune expway which was one of the first expressways to be built in india ( state expway) alongwith ahmedabad vadodara expway under NHAI during the early 2000s . yamuna expway and even agra expway came much later on.

Toll laga kar... Jitni roads nhi bani hain usse jyada toll plazas ho gaye hain... Kisi se shehar se apko kisi bhi disha me bahar nikalna ho... १५-२० kilometer ke andar me ek toll aa jayega.... Fuel spends ke almost barabar toll fee ho jaa rhi hai. Delhi-lucknow me 2000 ka diesel lagta aur 1200 toll.

Once tolls started its never closed, govt all showing other projects BOT operators recover 4-10 times more than project cost. What govt is doing of funds generate from Road taxes from registration of new cars?

I liked the video because it has basis in economic, if the projects create 4-10 project cost, then its a viable project, if it is financially rewarding then more companies will enter the fray, if there is more competition then the bidding cost will go down, if bidding cost goes down government can award more contracts with the same amount of money. Aur isme jab se fast-tag laga hai koi highway operator ghotala kar hi nahi sakta, kyuki puri ki puri report sarkar ko milti minute by minute , digital india ke madhyam se , concern hai ki privacy nahi hai, age jake jab gps ke hisab se toll lagega toh yeh concern badega. Mera kehna yeh tha ki budget me 10x increase hua hai (inflation ke sath 5x) to hua hi hai, duniya ki koi sarkar nahi kar pati agar lagaya hua paisa vapas nahi ata toh.
