Date: 02-04-2020 My key takeaways: 1. Day's Lows or High can be made as SL. When you buy: SL can be Day's Low (Prefer keeping SL near absolute number.. Eg: Low / High: 267.10 (has more open contracts), Keep SL at 266.) 2. Based on Pivot Points Hourly values 3. Based on Oscillators (Stochistic) 4. Decide fixed amount for stop loss 5. VWAP line as Stop Loss (Dynamic Stop Loss) 6. EMA based Stop Loss (10 or 14 days for less volatile, 20 days for high volatile stock) 7. Using Bollinger Bands (In trending market)

Hi Nitin, I am completely new in the trading world and I didn't know abc. But after watching your technical analysis video able to analyze the stocks and I can think practically rather than blindly or believing on brokers word. I am still not clear about stop loss. Let's, for example, I bought the one share on intraday at price 100 and i want to sell on 103 but price went down to 98 and i don't want to hold below this. so while doing the square off my bought stock at what section i will put 103 and what section i will put 98. Kindly guide.

My question was do I have to put stop loss daily for my long term investments as it is done in intraday or is there any other option in which I will put stop loss which will work for one week or one month, or any other better strategy? Because I am an employee and I may not give my every day to watch my portfolio. Kindly guide me if I have to put stoploss daily, because I go to office at 9.am and return to home at 6.30 p.m. and I mostly prefer short term monthly tradings and I do intraday trading only when I am on leave.
