One more thing which today's leaders should learn from Mahabharata....... Shantanu gave much more value to his beloved satyavati than his hastinapur and bhisma loved his father more than hastinapur...he didn't think even for a moment while taking 'akhand pratigya'...and the rest is history. So a king or a ruler shouldn't give more importance to his dear ones than his kingdom. But now a days relatives come first and the kingdom at the end.
