पूर्णिया की रूपौली थाना पुलिस मंगलवार (18 जून) को अचानक आरजेडी नेता बीमा भारती के घर उनके बेटे को तलाश करते हुए पहुंच गई. छानबीन करने के लिए आई पूर्णिया पुलिस ने बीमा भारती से उनके बेटे के बारे में पूछा. दरअसल उनके बेटे पर रंगदारी मांगने और हत्या करने के लिए सुपारी देने का आरोप है. पुलिस के घर में अचानक आने पर बीमा भारती काफी नाराज दिखीं. उन्होंने कहा कि उनका बेटा थाने जाएगा वहीं पूछताछ पुलिस करेगी. सरकार में नहीं हैं तो अचानक से सरकारी आवास में घुसकर आप लोग एक महिला को परेशान करिएगा.
दरअसल आज ही बीमा भारती लालू यादव से मिलने राबड़ी आवास गईं थीं. वो रूपौली सीट से आरजेडी की टिकट पर चुनाव लड़ना चाहती हैं. इससे पहले वो इसी सीट से जेडीयू की विधायक थीं. लेकिन जेडीयू से इस्ताीफा देने के बाद वो आरजेडी में चली गईं और अब आरजेडी से टिकट मिलने की उम्मीद लगाए हुईं है. इस बीच बेटे के मामले में उनके आवास पर पुलिस का पहुंचना और जांच में बेटे का नाम आना उनके लिए परेशानी का सबब बन सकता है.
