You dont actually have to play a 1 or 2 drop for the thicket elemental to get something good. It itself tutor for your preferred creature with Momir in play

Hey, quick question: Which decks are eligable for commander tuneups? Do you choose from all decks being sent your way or just from patreons, how does it work? Also, reaĺly nice deck. Simic and Stompy are my two favorite things in magic

There is a Patreon tier where you automatically get a Tune-Up of whichever commander you choose, but most of them come from fans in the youtube comments!

Pretty sure you don't get triple mana from treasure. They tap and sacrifice for mana, not just tap. Gilded lotus taps for 9 tho.

There is one red card that got printed in horizons thats actually really cool that the only text is "Cascade Retrace" for 4 mana called Throws of Chaos, actually pretty not-horrible card filtering for red late game

@@NitpickingNerds one of the more popular ways to build him used to be an elfball deck but with cards like magical hack, a very unfun way to build him similar to playing against Godo where the table knows if it makes it around a turn they're just gonna untap and kill everyone. Usually you beat a table with it once, everyone realizes what you're doing and you disassemble it in two weeks because you get hated off the board XD but when i first started playing when people would call the deck hackball, i thought it had somethung to do with his giant head and the fact he was a simic person hacking genes, so in my mind his name is still Hackball ;)
