Nitro Fun - The hardest Crash Bandicoot level I've ever played

Yeah, I think this one deserves a little clickbait title. I spent so many lives practicing this, I had to create a level with 99 extra lives on it just to refill. In fact, it seemed so hard, I was gonna be happy with a segmented run. However, after finally getting through it all, I decided I had to give it a chance, and I was able to do the whole thing in just a few attempts. The hardest part is just after the first checkpoint. I could only get through that about one out of five times. After the second checkpoint, I started experiencing slowdowns, and then it froze for a split second near the end, but I managed to save it. This only ever happened when I was recording. So yeah, if you want a really good challenge, try this one.
Note: The reason why I kill myself on purpose before the second checkpoint is because I somehow thought that was the intended strategy. When I first got there, I died by accident, but the checkpoint was activated and I never saw that the last box on that row was a TNT that you can safely land on. Call it a weird brain fart or something. I have since redone the level with the correct strategy, but I'll keep this one up.

It's an autoscrolling level that has pixel perfect gaps for the first half, then an okay second half that immediately presents you with a downward sloping corridor of bouncy blocks. Getting through that needs pixel perfect movement or divine intervention, because you have maaaaaaybe 4 seconds total to get through it before the deathwall catches you.

This is the type of level that will force you to do it all in one sitting. Cause pausing the game for a breather and to come back will definitely screw any momentum you might've had. On top of that, it would definitely have me letting out a sigh of relief when it's done. The fact that you're not even allowed to breathe or take a break for a SECOND is crazy.

No offense, but if you've ever done Platinum Relics in a Crash game, this level is really no different in theory or practice. It's all just chaining precise movements. The only difference is that here, it means dying, and in regular Crash, you're just resetting since you know you aren't getting the platinum relic

Some hard levels are just frustrating, and this sure had its moments too, but I actually had a lot of fun with this one. It was really satisfying when I was able to pull off the stuff that had cost me tens of lives.

After Crash 4, the hardest level is Toxic Tunnels. Anyway, I've seen much harder custom levels than this, but they're either much longer or the kind where every move has to be frame perfect, so completing them just isn't feasible.

This level doesn't really look that hard. No harder than some of the _Crash Bandicoot 2_ bonus paths, anyway. That's just my opinion, of course. But for context, I also died, like, 20 times on Level 21 on _Crash Bandicoot 2,_ recently, so I'm not exactly _good_ at the series.
