I've always wanted one of these. Love the sound especially the gear changes. Tune sounds good but I think with a little fiddling you'll get more out of it for sure. Its a goer but hey. Love it. Great upload 💯🏁🥇

I've had a HSP Stealth Nitro for a few months, really great fun but if you aren't prepared to be constantly fixing it, don't get one, something always breaks every time I take mine out. Snapped Pullstarts, Bent driveshafts, driveshafts popping out, clutches, shocks losing oil, servos dying leading to runaways on full throttle. I replaced the 4xAA battery pack with a 1100mah Li-Po, installed a roto start, replaced the bent front shock tower with a reinforced one and am gonna gear it for more power in the sand dunes. To prevent tears, stock up on spares and always carry your kit bag.

The max top speed (stock version) for this car is 80km/h with 20% good quality nitro fuel like merlin, tornado, byrol etc. I measured it on special measuring gates on the square for real cars. For better performance you can modification original engine, or use HPI T3.0 or Team Infinity .21 engine, but probably your 2-speed gearbox will break (i lost already 6-7 gear sets - plastic and metal versions - after I swap engines).

Do you know how many turns out the HSN and LSN was at final tune ?

They are not fix settings, you have to tweak settings everytime you use it depends on the weather, altitude and the fuel you use. Nitros are fun But also a bit trouble :)

How do you break in the engine do you let it run for a while or do you drive it a lot and Rev it ?

1st tank tires do not touch the ground, 2nd tank 1/4 throttle, 3rd tank 2/4 throttle, 4th tank full throttle for a few seconds and release REPEAT this until 4th tank finishes. And finally you can start tuning your engine.

Keep the temp between 200 and 230 for break in. Let the vehicle cook after first tank. Make sure the piston is at bottom dead center when it cools. That extremely important. And warm the engine to at least 190F before you start it. Also what the guy replied too. Check out breaking videos here on the tube and look at the common things from there you will have an idea of what to do.

@@moises1006 If you have the car, you'll need Nitro Fuel, Nitro Starter Kit, a 6V nimh battery pack or 4 AA batteries. And someone who has knowledge about nitro rc cars, to process the break-in properly.

das Wichtigste, worauf Sie achten müssen, ist: Einlaufprozess richtig verarbeiten. Danach können Sie Mod- und Upgrade-Teile auf aliexpress oder banggood finden. Und ich empfehle Ihnen, anstelle von 4 * AA-Batterien einen Nimh-Akku für Empfänger und Servos zu verwenden.

You're not getting top speed because you need to lean out your low speed needle about a half a turn maybe even a full turn worst case scenario but you know just make small adjustments at a time keep in mind leaning out the low end you will have to adjust the idle screw to keep the idle from being too high

Low speed needle has absolutely nothing to do with high speed hence the name. Low speed needle only affects acceleration and idle

Aluminum is more durable, on the other hand plastic is more flexible. So, they both have advantages depend on the conditions where it is being used.

To tell truth, you don't have the SH engine, just its clone - "Vertex" :P SH on the cooling head has notches in the opposite direction. They also produce engines for several good quality brands.

Dodo Ultimate That’s why I mentioned make sure there’s plenty of oil and try not to lean it out too much. your biggest enemy is heat. I have a red cat with the same engine I’ve been running 30% for a couple of years and the engine is just fine. but I was able to get 30% nitro with 12% oil that little extra oil helps keep the temperature from spiking. and even if you lean it out a little too much The added castor oil Will help keep you from running a piston dry. also The high oil content Will cause the 30% to run more like 25 or 27% so if you can’t find 30% with more than 8% or 9% oil you can buy koltz BC-172 racing caster oil additive to add the fuel. i add 1.5 oz caster to i gallon of 30% nitro 8% oil. just gotta keep in mind your run-of-the-mill RTR engines are made cheap to keep costs down. have fun with it run it until it grenades and buy a better engine like a Traxxas 2.5 or a 3.3 their dirt cheap you can usually find those on eBay for around 100$ and would be a massive upgrade to what came in the car. I have an old volcano redcat my daughter uses with a Traxxas 2.5 and it literally makes three times more power on 20% nitro 12% oil than the stock red cat engine. so much so I had to upgrade the steering servo so it would turn while on the throttle and had to upgrade the drivetrain and even then we’re still breaking stuff. eventually I just got rid of the 4 Wheel Drive I was constantly breaking front driveshafts and just made it rear wheel drive a little harder to control had to learn to be more discipline on the throttle. but much more fun and faster when you get rid of The front driveshafts,center shaft and the front differential you will lose some weight and the engine will ultimately rev faster because The 50% decrease in engine load. but that’s what’s fun about running these nitro RC‘s There’s so much you can do between the glow plug heat range,engine, Engine tuning, exhaust, drivetrain, clutch RPM engagement etc. that’s the difference between plug-and-play Electric RC and the nitro/gas thinkers that like to tinker.

Actually the motor is working great, and i removed and install it to one of my on-road cars as it is working quite well. You are right, HSP engines are not too good as they are DIRT CHEAP, i think i am one of the lucky ones. Again, while this brand is around 200 USD, you should be paying more than 600 USD or more to get from big brands. This is the perfect starting car for people who wants to enter Nitro Powered cars, so it will not hurt much in case of crashing, and a beginner would definetely have a crash :)
