Love the BRM - we had one as our first new car. When I used to go to Rally Cross (at Brands/Lydden Hill) back in the mid 80's there was a supercharged TR8 that I don't think we actually saw ever run!

So glad you've still got the V8-S.

We have a 525d 3.0 like that. Bloody great cars. Tow very well, bomb proof engines and plenty of pulling power.

You must not have seen the BMW videos on this channel.

Yeah saw them a few years back. Mine also broke the crank pulley but I did it in the afternoon with belts and tensioners. Just needed the 3 pin socket that I didn’t have. 525d 3.0 no swirl flaps so nothing to do there. Good engines, we put them in 90’s 110’s and Discos.

Looks like a great day out James. Found some more N.A.D.A.---Spec/US Sd-1's out here in the Desert. The US/Federally mandated Bumper's on them are HUGE... like Park Benches 😂. Just crushed a nearly identical 51Cadillac Flower Car in White just this past Thursday and that was even cleaner and more rust free 😮. But, it's my job....😒.

You left our Bill's killer line in @24.28 😆. Wait till they see what madness we are up to at the show this year 🤐😜

Always enjoy these videos. Keep thinking about going to the NEC show. Haven't bothered my arse going, maybe someday lol. Didn't know the Triton car needs a fair tickle with the sparkly stick. Makes pre-resto Dotty look mint! 😆 Hopefully this one gets restored, the Triton Green is the best colour for a Series one car in my opinion. Interesting to see more of the SA market SD1 too. I've got an SA built Opel Astra myself. Have found a lot of differences between the UK/Euro market cars and mine. It's got a guard for the fuel tank and lines as well. Sodding annoying as some parts are market specific making it impossible to get without having to import stuff in.

When I owned a moonraker blue Vitesse often at club meetings or shows, if you parked five or six blue cars together, they were all different shades

my boss once bought a v8 s sdi triton green got hit in o/s rear door the whole car had to be resprayed as berger couldnt match colour i turned down a tr7 cause of that
@spitfiretradingАй бұрын
That's interesting being as it was Berger who had the upstairs paint system at Solihull where they painted the series 1 SD1's.
