For the rate up unit, you are guaranteed to obtain them at 180 pulls. You get a random legendary with a chance of obtaining the rate up at 100 pulls. If you did not obtain the rate up character, there's a separate counter that continues to count to 180. The rates for obtaining legendaries is also higher compared to other gacha games. And pity is shared across all banners.
