Very nice boat!!! Can you give me a little more details on your tournament ruler, exactly how is that mounted or what is it mounted to? I have a 2022 Z18 and I constantly look for a place to keep mine and I like the look of yours. Thanks in advance.

Nice boat. Do you notice any difference having your heavier weight (hard baits) in the back of the boat? Also, where does your co-angler put his gear? I've left the back left box open for the co-angler, and keep my heavy stuff in the front middle and (r) and rods (l) and rear box (r) is for survival crap (tools/first aid/xtra vest/rope/extra prop/etc.). Going to watch the LED install. Looking to add some lights for mostly the boxes when prepping before launch.

thank you!!...i honestly haven't noticed a difference in performance with my layout, my hole shot is phenomenal, and top speed is very comparable to what i see others with same boat/motor posting...my co anglers usually bring a limited amount of gear (i don't fish tourneys...yet)...its usually a family member or close friend so if they need anything they don't have i just let them use mine...haha...hope that helps!

thanks alot, i appreciate it!!!...and yea absolutely, I looked at both the Z19 and Z18, but at the end of the day I couldn't justify spending a few extra thousand on the Z19 for not much more boat...I sat in both side by side, and have a friend with a Z19, great boat, just not worth the difference in my opinion...so i took the extra few thousand and spent it on accessories, custom built my Z18 exactly how i wanted it!...hope that helps!

Thank you for putting this together. I ordered the "Easy View Tackle System" while watching. The tilt mounts for the Talons are next. I can't put Talons on without them due to garage door heights - solving all my problems for me.

Very Sorry for your loss! Amazing boat for sure..Would like to ask a few questions if you don't mind as I am about to pull trigger on a 2020 Z18/19 .. For starters what is the exact color if you dont mind? Do you have a video of lowrance installs? Do the dual 12' talons give you ANY water over the back issues? Or sit too low? Thanks

thank you, I appreciate that!...my color scheme is actually custom, it's not a scheme you can pick right off the Nitro page...took me forever to finalize the scheme, I'm anal about my boat...lol...unfortunately no, I didn't record the install of the graphs, but wish I did now since I've had several people ask about it...and no issues with the Talons, love them...I get very little if any water over back of boat...hope that helps!!

That is one heck of a boat man, u did not mess around. It took me two years to talk the wife in letting me get a stock 2019 z18 lol your making me feel like I have to spend another 20k lol I ordered mine a week ago and bass pro should have it ready for me in another week, just in time for ny fishing. I’m new to the boat life and not a very good fisherman. I just like to think I am lol Sorry for your loss man.

thanks Jason!...I appreciate that!!!...you will love the Z18, in my opinion it's the best bang for your buck, hands down...I'm very fortunate to be able to do all my customizations, but they def aren't needed, get on the water and just have some fun, and trust me, I'm a much better fisherman in my head than I am on the water as well...lol...I spend a lot of time fishing NY waters, maybe we'll run into each other at some point...tight lines buddy!

I have a z18 and getting a 6” atlas Jack plate installed as well.. where did you relocate your tie downs? Do you have a photo of that area?

Hey Rick!… My tiedowns came on the sides of my jack plate… That’s how it came from the factory since my boat was a custom build and the plate was on there from the beginning...I would see if they can maybe add tie downs to your plate somehow, mine are solid as a rock...hope that helps!

Thanks man!...I’m running a 23P Tempest Plus...on average I run low 60’s (60-63)...I’ve hit 65 but that’s the highest I’ve seen...I’m loaded down as well, like most of us I’m sure...hahaha

thanks man, I appreciate that!...my dealer made it super easy to custom build, other than me torturing myself over the little details...lol...process was seamless, had the boat custom built in less than 7 weeks...I did order in the fall of 2017 though, typically a slower time of year so I think that's why I got it so quick...thanks again!

Also, I am new to your channel so idk what you have ran in the past for shallow water anchors. I have sportsman pro II's on my ranger. If you did review on those talons I would appreciate it. No prob!...I had dual 10' Power Pole Blades on my last boat, and I get asked this a lot...I have to be honest, if I was buying a new boat today, I would have to flip a coin for Talons vs Blades...I'll make a short video on the Talons and briefly talk about the differences that I've noticed between them and the Blades...thanks for supporting my page, much appreciated!

yes sir!...my kids love it, I'll do a video on how I set it all up, pretty easy to do and the boat pulls them with no issues...I've pulled 2 full grown adults with no problems at all!

How’s it ride in rough water?

handles rough water better than any other 18 and a half footer I've ever been in...I fish Lake Oneida and the St Lawrence River a lot and no issues at all...Nitro has come a loooong way!

What are the dimensions of the Nitro stickers on the rod lockers?

If I remember correctly they’re 42” long by 8” wide…I can measure to be exact but I know it’s right around those numbers for sure…hope that helps!

I believe so, I had it custom built from Nitro so the plate was already on when it got to my dealer, but I don’t think they had to extend anything...hope that helps!

How much did I pay for the boat?...or how much have I put into it with customizing?...and top speed I’ve seen was 66, that was under perfect conditions with only about a quarter tank of gas...I usually run low 60’s (60-63) on a regular basis...that’s loaded down with gear...hope that helps!

How did you get the custom graphics on your motor cover and how much did it cost. Also where can I find the storage drawer for the passenger side rod holder.

My motor cover was made by Tuffskinz, I worked with them to custom design the cover, awesome company to deal with, they can customize it just about anyway you want...if I'm not mistaken it was roughly $250 with the custom designs/decals...and the drawer by passenger foot area was an option when I custom built the boat, I believe you can order it through your dealer and install if you don't already have it...very easy to install, just screws into place...hope that helps!

Hmm, i’m honestly not sure of what the length is exactly… I don’t want to give you the wrong information… I know it fits in my garage with plenty of room to spare, I’ll measure the length of it and try to get you the most accurate number I can when I go outside!
