just saw the update announcement on steam and your video popped up right away on my youtube, it feels like christmas lol btw yeah, I think I liked the individual market stalls better, like you said it made more sense for the families to sell their own goods, instead of the store house people. I read the patch notes, they say some players were having a hard time understanding why a gravedigger would sell vegetables, well, it makes sense to me if they grow them in their yard. probably adding a little tooltip or something would have worked just fine to make things more clear, but alas...

I think alot of people are fogetting at its core its a city builder. Its not total war. If you cant accept that than best you play total war instead.

Other games require similar requirements for marketing stalls with granary and warehouse, such as Foundation gameplay. It's the next step up from setting shop outside your house or using a farmer's market. Centralized storage equals better distribution chain. Glad to see it in this game now.

Nice to see the game when it actually works. Most the time my loggers will not log, they will not work in the crops. Only 1 family seems to do anything at any given time while the rest chill in their houses with tons of work to do and lots of surplus. Then after 12 hours of finally working up they stop market supply and starve everyone. So many bugs its not even worth playing.

been loving the update so far, i know it just released and still in beta but FUCKKKK military got absolutely railed, bandits and the baron got me sweating when they don’t be rallying after a minute or following orders, same goes with normal citizens getting stuck lol

It doesn't really work. You can limit the items in a market, but the storehouse will still go straight for the closest market even if there is no overlap between its allowed inventory and the market's allowed inventory. The whole thing needs more revamping.

I have found with this update that approval is really hard to get. I am in minus all the time despite having clothes, leather, enough food and a level 2 church. I get -17 every month for entertainment but have not got more than 5 family so managing an ale house is too hard. Not sure if it is a glitch or what. Played around 50hrs before so not my first rodeo.

The new market system seems ill-conceived. You’ll need a sprawl of storehouses & granaries to get a decent size market place. And if your villagers can’t buy what they want from the market, do they get goods from the storehouse & granary for free?

I am a bit disappointed that rivers are basically just eye candy. They have 0 utility. No river fishing, no maritime trade, no irrigation (rivers dont seem to affect fertility map at all in my games). Yes I know it's only beta but still, I expected at least one benefit to having a river
