“Tired” came to be after a season of just feeling so tired: emotionally, physically, mentally. It felt wrong because I felt like I had no real reason to be tired in the first place. Everything from the simplest of conversations to the gravity of having to make decisions felt like I was at war with myself - it was like I was drowning and couldn’t swim to the surface for air. This song is my release from that; my way of confessing an exhaustion for a need for someone to save me from myself. It’s okay not to be okay.

For over 4 years I was tired and thought I’ve had enough. I never thought I’d make it to my 20th birthday. Now I’m 21, got a stable job, great friends, a great dad and an amazing boyfriend. I know it’s possible to fall back into my old patterns, but right now I’m happy that I kept fighting. there's no place for people with mental illness in this world, so they keep struggle alone till their illness become worst or they dont have enough money to go to hospital. you know, many people with mental illness feeling this way. they hide in the bottom of darkness and feel so lonely then commit suicide. sometimes the reality is really cruel.

Hi, my name is lisa and i'm 14 years old. Right now everyone is telling me that i can't live the way i do and that i have no future like this, my siblings and i don't go to school, but we live in germany so actually we would have to. I'm tired of people telling me what to do and how to live (even if it really is wrong, just let me destroy my future, because you are destroying my future by taking my life and my reasons to live, away from me), i'm tired of humans in general, i'm tired of everything right now. I just started listening to this song a while ago and I find it very comforting. For me it is school, family, and people in general that's really getting to me, my teachers, grades, everything, I just feel exhausted, no matter how much sleep I get.. My parents keep trying to, what I assume, to motivate me by saying I'll have to retake 8th grade when it's really just scaring me and make it all feel even more hopeless. I feel trapped, like all this is seriously neverending. Hah one day I was walking my dog and one person was walking in my direction on the same side of the street and another person on the other side, I couldn't help but sigh and accidentally say aloud "ugh theres people" like my brain wanted them to hear me, I ended up walking in the street. It's been 2 months, we dont have the same story, but I'm also 14 and I personally also find it comforting and interesting listening to other peoples stories, especially if we both feel strongly about the same thing. I feel happy when I see other people sharing what's going on in their lives, when things get so tough and overwhelming I cant help but eventually spill somewhere, usually at the same place I come to find comfort like this video. It's been a while since you left this comment, I dont know how you're doing, but I hope you're doing okay. "Everythings gonna be okay" I see that as a big lie unless youre close to the person saying it. If anything things can get even worse before they get better. I probably shouldn't say that but its true- But I also think once you do get past the worst, the reward will be amazing. It may not be some grand prize, it can be as small (or big) as a simple weight being lifted off your shoulders. Maybe just a couple days of no worries. It's still something though, and that's what I try to look forward to.
