The thing that makes incubator cards nice is they dont have summoning sickness when you pay the 2 on the following turns. Makes the "pay in installments" feel better.

This is my first time watching these videos while actually playing magic and opening packs regularly (mtg online though so not rly). It's an interesting experience since I actually have my own thoughts on cards rather than "yeah he's probably right I'll take his word for it" I think "oh I haven't thought of it that way".

With the inclusion of the Multiversal Legends , the set really feels like Magic the Bombening. I’ve drafted decks with Kenrith that felt literally invincible and i’ve been crushed by turn 1 Ragavan without any hope of ever catching up.

Burgeoning is best in splashing green, sure, but I've been plenty happy with it in two color decks that really want to ramp to 7 as soon as possible.

Love all your stuff, just pointing out you might be off on Invasion of Belenon. (In white aggro knights deck) this thing is nuts. It's very easy to drop that 3/1 turn 2, this on turn 3 and sending in your first striker (which they rarely block) and flipping it on turn 4. It won me the prerelease, it won me last FNM (had 2) and it's won me 2 drafts on Arena. Of course all this is personal experience, but getting that Anthem effect really helps a lot.

Inert is underrated. Kills plainswalkers, disrupts counter decks and plays with battles.

Preening Champion is so good. Pulled two at FNM last night and then convoke cards. It is a powerhouse. With all the knights I had in white. It's great.

Tbh the boros equip deck with reyav and maybe valduk(not as good at reyav) feels extremely good usually, menace weapon that gives treasure, kor Halberd is great, and the banesplitter's flash giving a creature surprise double strike if reyav isn't answered is extremely nice. And in the worst cases reyav eats a removal and you just equip your nice value equips to all the incubates and ral's reinforcements with good removal/aggro from red

I feel like Surge of Salvation deserves a mention, at least based on what I've seen in games. The fact that it just blanks removal for 1 mana is often a nightmare to play against, and it so often has the upside of making your opponent's creatures survive in combat when they have no right to that it's a real bitch to play against. Seems more like a C+

Yeah once you milled two non permanents you will never play it again.

@@AngoDecay how often will that happen though in your average limited deck? 17 lands, 15/16 creatures puts you at 31-33 permanents, if we add battles as some noncreature options you go up to 35 permanents or somethin, and seed of hope is one of few instants in your deck, the chance to mill 2 instants/sorceries is very small. I think the only way to manage that is to play seed in a deck with a lot of instants and sorceries, but i dont think you would do that in the first place, especially since seed is green and that color doesnt have many instants to start with.

Best case scenario, it’s a slightly better Consider with gain 2 that can’t grab kill spells. That’s decent. But the fact that it can just be a 1 mana mill 2 gain 2 is a pretty awful worst case scenario. If you can’t get value out of two instants/sorceries hitting the yard, that’s almost strictly a worse Healing Salve.

How did he ever think temporal cleansing was bad? Sorcery yes but convoke and 2nd from top rather then first? This is good. Preening champion?! Wind drake was always okay...this is a wind drake on Crack and 2 bodies for the same cost. How in the world u thought this was gonna be bad?!

I never thought it was bad. I gave it a C in the set review, which means you play it most of the time and it's solid. But yes, it is better than I thought.

@Nizzahon Magic temp getting a c fair no argument, if you gave preening champion the c...without at least a c+ isn't. It's not a Big deal eitherway we all rate a few cards higher and lower then others at times. Just saying, still love your content or I wouldn't be here.
