Thank you for posting this footage! It's so awesome to see and gave me all the nostalgic feels. I especially loved seeing those great fountains again. I was 13 in 1992, and Wayne Hills Mall was my favorite mall since childhood. My parents and I spent many years clothes shopping in Meyer Brothers. I miss browsing through Sam Goody, the Town Mouse, and Waldenbooks, tossing a penny in the fountains, and playing some Pac Man at the arcade, then grabbing a bite at McDonald's or a yogurt at TCBY.

Great stuff. Hard to find visuals of malls from the past. I used to go to the Wayne Hills Mall and the Long Hill Mall of Oakland, NJ numerous times in the 80's and 90's. More activity back then. I miss those times. The was Consumers, Fun Palace arcade, Child World outside of the mall nearby.

My sister and I had matching windbreakers just like the girl at 0:54 (though we wore ours a bit later in 1998). So cool to see typical daily life from what is now 30 years ago!

this legitimately broke my heart, especially seeing the in store footage of sam goody. I used to go to the Wayne hills mall every Friday to get the new no limit albums between like 99-00. i forsure shed a tear.

They used to make that mall so pretty at Christmas time. My heart will forever be broken that that mall is all gone.

Now it's just becoming inside out - they are now making it an outlet center.

@@ckfinke7625, sorry for being late on this comment. In regards to what you said, that wound up not happening. ShopRite is now where the Wayne Hills Mall used to be.

@@matthewalexanderlemma8000 Yes, but new things can come, time will tell. Like where Kmart was, I asked Ocean State Job Lot to take over that one.
