No Yoruba imam can lead Islamic incantations, which they erroneously call prayers, and Northerners will queue behind him. If our brother was trying to be smart and saying that it wasn't true, then we should ask him who declares Ramadan in Nigeria. Again, our brother was asking what language he would use to lead prayers in a Mosque in China. There are Chinese pastors, who have gone outside of China and they do speak in Church using Mandarin or Cantonese, not even English, so the host will have to look for an interpreter to interpret what he is saying in Chinese to English. So if our brother should go to China, he will lead the mosque in Yoruba or English, and the host, the Chinese Muslims, will have to find an interpreter for him. That is how it is. Chinese value their language a lot. The only thing stopping China from being a World power is that they are not an English speaking country, which is more of a universal language now. Even Hong Kong that was colonized by Britain, who used English as their means of communication, after Cantonese, has ditched that English to be the 3rd official language now, after Cantonese and Mandarin.
