I truly respect the efforts of both men. It's a shame that Mistico has not come close to finding his niche in American wrestling. Mistico's talents are best kept in this style of wrestling - he simply cannot get used to the WWE style and doesn't connect well with American "Sports Entertainment" fans. I feel he's best utilized in Japan/Mexico scene, where they are far more open to the Lucha Libre style of wrestling.

I have and will always love the WWE but it's unfair what happened to Mistico/ Sin Cara. Wrestlers like him don't get apreciated enough and they get blamed because their opponent can't suit their style.
@thylodeneve613310 жыл бұрын
Youre right man !
@frenchfrey659 жыл бұрын
Charles Giannaros actually in this case we can blame Mistico because backstage he was really an ass. he pulled a literal gun on Alberto Del Rio, don't believe me? Look up Sin Caramania by Botchamania's Maffew, it'll explain their history. He also flat out refused to learn WWE's style, so the only wrestlers he was compatible with were Mysterio, Chavo Guerrero, and Del Rio, and even then he botched like crazy, and hardly was the other guy's fault! Not to mention the dude failed a drug test. It's not that WWE doesn't appreciate Lucha Libra, they just don't appreciate guys who suck on screen, and for marks like me, off screen. If it were any other Luchador, I'll bet they would and could translate into WWE's style and be the next Luchador for them.
@WiggyWarriorI9 жыл бұрын
Charles Giannaros I'd say it's both sides' fault. WWE has few performers that can actually do Lucha style, and he wasn't sent to NXT. On the other hand, Sin Cara refused to learn English and maybe just wasn't good at WWE's sterile style. All that matters is that he's out of the company and wrestling where he belongs.
@Pirustae8 жыл бұрын
+WiggyWarriorI exactly. I think Sin went straight to be himself and let no other demean his determination. He is a better wrestler than his "predecessor". Offstage he wasn't an ass as the guy says but after the frustrations coming from frequent injuries he didn't get along with a few other superstars. Sheamus for example, punched him like a jerk that he was when Sin clearly said to him to be left alone. I wish the original Sin to return to major wrestling companies at least, and not remain passive(if he is). The guy's got much talent. I wish he could sign with Lucha Underground tho. He would thrive there.
@AlexMartinez-xz4di5 жыл бұрын
He is now Caristico@@Pirustae
@Krimzon12 жыл бұрын
Pro wrestling, regardless of style, is designed to entertain the audience. No one style is "better" than others. They all have their place in the business and shouldn't be dismissed simply because you don't care for it. It's called an "opinion" and yours isn't the only one that matters. Bottom line, these guys are busting their ass for us and deserve a certain amount of respect.

There lots of luchadores who master holds and maneuvers, in fact luchadores have better in ring fundamentals than most American wrestlers, but just as in American wrestling, casual fans aren't that interested in those kind of matches, they tend to preffer highflying matches (just as American audiences love their wrestlers having "mic skills -wtf?-). Different kinds for different folks.
