some railfans think 4203 is the loudest but I think that 4211 has the best k5 and doppler out of all the gp40ph-2b's

I literally have a video on my channel of 4203 and my god why in the hell is the horn so loud Lmao 😭 my ears actually where hurting. Don’t get me wrong it was nice to listen to even if it was a little deafening.

NJT - 4027 When I rotated to chase the engine I got the crossing gate dead center frame lol. I actually shifted over if you listen closely (leaves).

Thanx! Lol everyone says I got good eyes. ;) I couldn't agree with you more dude. Those comet IV cabs are still in good shape. Next time I take a ride on the nj transit acl train... I'm gonna ask the conductor why they don't run the comet IV's anymore. (If they know) lol! And one more thing. When it was the last year of comet IV's running on the acl was in the early summer of 2012, is how nj transit went from comet IV to comet V in one day. IT'S CRAZY! They need to bring comet IV's back! :D

I hear you man. I agree, a lot of the comet v k5la horns squeak a lot. You know what has the best K5LA horns on them... Comet IV cab cars. I think the best comet IV cab car was 5014. It is my fav. Cab car because of the amazing horn. I wonder why they stopped running the comet IV's. :( it's a shame.

Did they scrap the Comet IV's all together? I thought they were just transferred off of the AC line.. It be a surprise to me if they did scrap them considering they have equipment older than them (just look at the Arrow IIIs :D).

I know right! :) They didn't scrap all of them yet. Right now they are using them as regular coach cars. Remember in your video with the train that has 4205in it... Well I saw comet IV 5014 right behind it as a coach. Like I said before it is a shame that they don't use them anymore because in my opinion, the comet IV's have some excellent K5LA horns. I am still trying to figure out why they would replace perfectly good can cars. :( but anyway... Yeah. Lol! :D

George John Stefanow Thanks for pointing that out, as I didn't even notice that! I'm going to go frame by frame on the individual videos to see if I can find anymore.. One thing I don't understand about that is if NJT is still using the Com IV as a regular passenger car, then why not continue using it as a cab car? EDIT- the only Comet IV in this video is 5014 riding behind GP40PH #4205... You sir have a very good pair of eyes!

What equipment is being used on that line and do they usually stay there since the Atlantic City Line isn’t connected to the other NJT Lines?
