I saw a PS going to plant trees in nanyuki followed by 21 freaking prados. Bado hujacount the amount of money spent in chartering a chopper to the airstrip. Isitoshe each prado had a minimum of 2 to 3 people. Wueeeehhhh i was sad.

What a good question put on Njugush.-- What will he do if he were the president? His answer is unconvincing. He says hefty fines will replace taxes(kind of) Apparently, he will rely on Matatus to fund the government instead of direct taxes. Then he goes on to say “atakonda”, admitting that being President ain’t a walk in the park. But he also says Ruto/ Gachagua are going to be one term duo. He is admitting that running a country is not easy, but still complains about those who are running it now. Taxation is a difficult subject. Not many understand it. I don’t either, but all I know is we cannot continue relying on loans to develop our country. We must harambee to do it. Maybe the only people who ought not to be taxed are the KDF because they may be called upon to pay through their blood 🩸 and lives.

I love Njugush, he could have said so much more, you can see it in his eyes, but he knows just as we know that words have consequences in this country and you can find yourself in a forest in Kikuyu getting pistol whipped. All the same, he vocalised the reasoning of majority of Kenyans. To keep it simple, we need key performance indicators to instill the confidence we need to make these mandatory contributions, because hawa ni wale wale, same old crooks. Instead of investing in the people they tax, they'd rather just skip all the formalities and just go straight to the tax.
