Girls Frontline is a series that NEEDS to be a bleak, grounded Sci-Fi FPS but the devs are hellbent on making every spinoff and sequel into every genre except that. So it's both not surprising and completely wonderful that fans are doing what they can to make it real.

It's mostly because the Asian game and manga/animation market just isn't into gritty grounded sci-fi about PTSD afflicted girls. Mika Team knows what they want to create, they just can't seem to sell it to anyone except the gatcha market.

The anime girl on the 416 mod in 1:30 is a character named 416 whom uses HK416 as her firearm in Girls Frontline. RoN devs seemed to referenced her in the game with markings on 416 model say 65-000404. 65 is her index number in Girls Frontline and 404 is the name of her squad.

To be honest, Girl's Frontline is a staple of any gun nerd, just like how every channel trying to visualize the functionality of a gun will use the animations from World of Guns; every time you want to add something anime to a game about guns you will immediately refer to the dolls from GFL. There's also GFL references in Ready or Not, the one I can recall being the serial numbers on the M9 model matching the doll number of GFL's M9.

Imagine, you are in a hostage situation. Your captors are robbing the bank and you and a few others are their only bargaining tool, suddenly a police officer who is completely covered in anime themed SWAT gear barges in through the front door and shooting at the robbers while screaming Japanese words, you don't even live in Japan. So this SW(EEB)AT just goes guns blazing on any one who is a threat, you realize that their gun is painted to look like a nerf gun. While they are shooting, one of the robbers got hit and is on the ground begging for mercy, the SW(EEB)AT just looks down on him says something in Japanese, sprays them with raid pepper spray and unloads a magazine worth of bullets on to the robber, after that they proceed to pose in some sort of cute anime pose and continues on their rampage. More office comes out the door and its just a girl wearing a bullet proof vest over some Japanese school uniform, an officer with a cat that he uses as a battering ram, and a guy who looks like a normal SWAT but is wearing some sort of weird cat girl mascot (Neco arc) Mask. You are now more terrified of the officers than the actual robbers, as the officers shoot the robbers down, you someone in the vents crawling away, its one of the robbers, one of the officers spots the suspicious vent crawling robbers and viciously shoots them down while saying "sus amongus".

It has been two weeks, I dunno if you'll read this, but about the first mod: It's a model for Niko, a character from the gacha game Blue Archive, and simply put: imagine a high schooler special operative. Yep. That's it, that's the thing. She's literally from a special forces school that is based solely on counter-terrorism. Funnily enough, she and her squad ends up committing acts of terrorism to get their school back.

This place is the American dream since every schoolgirl is allowed to openly carry their firearms and even drive around in tanks lmao, guns are like accessories to them with ammo and mags being sold at convenience stores. A lot is going on here but I must say, it's wild and fun lmao, until you get to the Eden treaty (wooooooh war crimes baby)

Reminds me of playing Left 4 Dead when you fall down the modding hole. Tips for SR-16? I found a spreadsheet/dataset that found it’s one of the worst 5.56 ARs but I’m a big KAC fanboy. They all do same damage so there’s no point in using the worst recoiling rifle (tied with Mk 1). Best is G36. Any idea how to make SR16 more viable?
