Project Wingman is my surprise passion game of the year and is also my first foray into the genre. Decided to give it the Ready or Not mod treatment and ended up biting off more than I can chew. My first look in, my bookmarks folder currently has 80+ nexus tabs (most of them just skins) and I haven’t gotten around to finishing seeing all the mods and still need to whittle mods down. Sadly unlike Ready or Not there isn’t an amogus mod for PW from what I’ve seen :( Also does anyone know the first music track Nylon used in this vid? This guy is missing a major development of Ace Combat 7 modding. You can add custom planes. Not planes that replace existing planes, entirely new ones. Planes like the F-117, EA-6B, and all kinds of silly Strangereal future planes. The process is really fiddly right now, but you can already use a vast arsenal of new content.

The Armored Core community did reply to my questions about mods as "may be falsely flagged as hack/cheating when online mode is enabled".

​@@First-Name_Last-NameMods of any kind are best used in offline mode to avoid triggering the anti cheat, because the anti cheat will flag any and all files- including duds, as a possible hack/cheat (I found that out the hard way.) The good news is that the anti-cheat seems to be deactivated in offline mode. The anti-cheat is most certainly only used to prevent modded online play against unmodded players.

let's do the math: The weight (per missile) of the 8AMG, and I mean takeoff weight augmentation is of 56 kg. Considering that there are about 36 missiles, the total weight (excluding the jet's) would be of 2.016 kg. Since I was unable to find any information of how much weight the 18F can support, I'll be considering that it can support as much as the F-111, which is of 92.500 pounds. Considering that 2.016 kg ≈ 4.445.280 lbs. The answer is no. The F/A-18F Block III cannot dupport the 36 missiles.

5:42 I did some math, and assuming those are AGM-88 missiles, it would be over maximum takeoff weight with 56 of them, like shown there. But putting that down to 30 missiles (2 pods under the fuselage and 4 under each wing, instead of 6 pods under the fuselage and each wing like in the game) would leave it enough to fill about 46% of it's fuel capacity and stay under its max takeoff weight. So no, it wouldn't be able to take off with that many missiles attached to it. But cut the missiles in half and it's fine. Or give it some RATO boosters and it should work.

The combined load of 43 (I think) missiles would weigh about 34,228 pounds; combined with the empty weight of the aircraft gives 66,309 pounds. The maximum takeoff weight of an F/A-18F is about 66,000 pounds. Even without the fuel it's 309 pounds past what it could actually fly with. Dunno if you were around the AC games back then (I've been playing since the PS1 days) but in AC6, they had DLC planes and when you equipped them, it'd change the characteristics from the standard plane, and each missile would have different color smoke.
