We need this prayer in our beautiful country against crime, domestic violence, scarcity and lack of humanity! Let the heavens, hear now... No one can help the South African country to be a better country except calling upon the Most High God to intervene himself in our leaders who will stand for South Africans. We are praying even as we are heading to election time ahead. We plead the Most High God to remember South Africa, with good leaders! not certain race, not certain people with certain status, not certain propaganda, But we need leaders who will prioritize South Africans! All that we need is for Most High God to raise real leaders, who will stand for South Africans without discrimination! Our forefathers have fought for this land for recognition that we are diverse, we are multiracial, we are South Africans. Now, the spear of uniting South Africa is within each and every South Africans to be seen through electing a political party whom we have fate to Most High God that, it got potentially to bring laws into existence in South Africa with no mercy. We called upon all, nature , kingdoms, kings, queens, our forefathers: We call upon, our core Creator of Heavens and Earth, let it be peace in South Africa. Let it be a different country free from economic struggles, free from inequality before the laws of South Africa, Free from gender oppression which seem not yet ended: The struggle of women and children abuse, must come to an end!!! Blessed are those voices and instrument operators who stand up and become a voice of South African prayer!!! Let the heavens hear, now: God bless SOUTH AFRICANS IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME... AMEN

An amazing piece of music and a stunning performance. There are very few anthems that move me almost to tears, but this one does every time. The Welsh anthem, Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau, is perhaps the only other anthem that I can think of that comes close, but there is a beauty in Nkosi Sikelel's Afrika that transcends even that.

I've listened to so many of these songs with just the singers beautiful voices. Classical music does not give the sound of a victorious oppressed people, this song was destroyed by the orchestra. This is what happens with inclusiveness, when one tries to globalise the tones of the heart bred in pain and anguish.
