I saw them in 1990 too, except It was for my 5th bday, it was my 1st concert, and I saw them at MSG. My mom was a young biker chick and totally not into NKOTB, but she took me, my aunt who was 15, and her bff. I remember being all dressed up in my NKOTB gear, making the signs to hold up, and bringing a rose for Jordan. I remember getting upset 1. Because I was so tiny everyone towered over me in the aisles and I couldn't see anything 2. I really believed I was gonna meet Jordan and gonna get to give him my rose like I would see on t.v. lol. My mom stood me up on my seat so I could see everything and I remember screaming, singing, and dancing the entire night... so much so I had to miss 2 days of pre-k cause I got laryngitis 😂. One of the best concerts Ive ever been too over the yrs. My mom also still has the recording of me opening the tickets for my 5th bday presents (apparebtly I lost my voice then too from too much screaming and doing cartwheels all over our kitchen😂).

They were the band back in the day, I’m 52 now and I remember them coming out and it hit like a lightning bolt. I’m happy I got to see them when they were younger like Me and I watch the walburghs now and see mostly Donny in the public eye and he seems like a normal joe and he exudes being blessed and thankful. Their moms were smart and kept them close and they are all still alive and prob still have their first nickel

I was SO ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE with NKOTB when I was 10 or 11! I had EVERYTHING with them on it!! If it had NKOTB on it, I HAD to have it, lol... and I think it is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING that they are still together, 30+ years later!! I think it definitely shows A LOT about them as individuals as well as a group! Today you see boy bands together for like a year and all of a sudden they just fall apart and go there own separate ways. I think the reason that NKOTB are still together is because they were actually true friends before there success....they weren't thrown together by some music producer who had no clue who each of them were. I was a NKOTB fan at 10 and I am STILL an NKOTB fan at 40! That, to me, is just CRAZY!!!! WAY TO GO GUYS!!!! #NKOTBSTRONG #MASSACHUSETTS #FRIENDS4LIFE
