Tangsa was coin politically by Bipin Borgohin to avoid to scrape out from Naga text Tribe ,actually this attempt was from since after independence by Indian technocrats so that Tangsa may not include the Naga name ,so that they will not connect with the Nagas of Myanmar and Nagaland ,actually we the same khangli khuphuk( Head gear) wear by all the Nagas of Myanmar and India are the same Tribe same history as Recoznised as Nagas and known by the people of world, Now we call as Tangsa which include many Sub Tribes with different dialogue not less then 70 languages including our people in Myanmar,,we had very strong doctrine and our incestor belief system ,culture and customary laws for any kind of dispute even in murder case too third sitting of judges from every community will be the last and final solution ,Our system of soving case will never take much time like six month or year .but now aday we adop othe western riligion ,culture written law from others community is is imported by our people like Indian law in the court All those are not similar to Tribal customary system,become the case which we sove is never done injustice to right person and never take fees of bribe by our local judges. All those rich system are distorted day by day, may be it will vanish oe day,we should to think over it.

Tangsa also known as Tangshang We are Naga Real Naga one . Our Naga Tribe are just divided by Political, Border, don't mean we are not Naga We Are NAGA. Who Divided the Naga who.

U should immediately start a movement to become recognised as real Naga and therefore get united with the nagas of Nagaland and Burma, instead of living in arunachal pradesh as third class citizen. I am sure that the Naga people, especially the NSCN freedom fighters will definitely welcome you, because they too want a united nagalim and therefore will welcome you with open arms and give important positions to the tangsas, unlike today, when they are only considered fit for labourers and simple soldiers by both the NSCN groups and other freedom fighters of Nagaland and Burma, just like the nocte and wanchos!! Historically Tangsa & Singpho were brother while living in Burma(Myanmar) before migrating in present day Arunachal Pradesh. Most of the elders of my Village used to tell me.

I think because of same religion only they have good relationship with Tai Khampti & formed Khampti & Singpho council in order to strengthen their bond & to work for their community. Whereas, Singphos are originally from Myanmar and Tangsas too. Only in Arunachal (India) Singpho collaborated with Tai Khampti.

In tangsa few subtribe like muklom share some naga traits...as mentioned here the hill people chief who coined the TANGSA belong to muklom tribe..therefore it is rightly mentioned here that tangsas were not NAGAS...

It's bcoz there are more than 80-90 sub tribe, having separate dialects, you are lucky enough you got only 3 dialects. So to communicate with each other we use our improvised version of Nagamese and Assamese.

Because we the Tangsa have more than 40 subtribes & each subtribe have its own dialect as well as influenced of Assamese as Assam is very close. So it become a common language to communicate within our community.
