Nice find! I am curious though, how does this alarm compare to that other one that has the 79R looking cover? I would assume because the newer one had a more “solid state” circuit, it would detect and sound much faster than the alarm that is the focus of the video. Still both neat units though, would love to find one of each some day!

Interesting, I thought the indicator for these was just like the SS-749 and the gas alarms.
