The suitcase is an Avon bag. I know because I sold Avon in the late 70's to early 80"s and that is the case I got to put my samples and books and everything in from the district manager when I signed up. The ball jointed doll has the same face as the one my great- grandmother had only her's had a rubber body. I took the head (which is all that is left of her) to a doll hospital and was told it was the baby head but the body she was on was a toddler body which is unusual. I had her dressed in toddler clothes before she fell about and the little girl from next door and I were pushing her around in her stroller while our joint yard sale was going on. I got so many reactions from people coming to the yard sale thinking we were pushing a real baby. I need to get some limbs for her and make a cloth body for her. Was told that was the only way to restore her, I am thinking that now reborning those limbs will be better than the option I had the last time. The vinyl is no where near the tone of the head which also needs cleaned and some restoration. I believe 30's-40's would be a good starting point. My head is composition. But pretty sure the same company made both of our dolls. I was told that a brother and sister that were neighbor's of my grandma played with her and did a baptism(catholic) on her. He became a priest later and she became a nun.

Oh wow, I found an amazing bag for less than $5. Thank you for sharing. We had no idea and wow, we see great info on it online and it is selling for a good penny. I plan to display it in front of my crib. I think it is so lovely. We figure the doll is from the 40's, we found one that looks almost identical to her. Just different hair. How cool that you have your doll head. You could always just get her a cuddle body. Give her an all cloth body. That would work as well.

That is the exact caboodles I had. Color, sticker, everything. I got it in the early 90s. I know i gave it away but i can't remember when or why. It was back in my goth clubbing days and it went on plenty of adventures. So cool to.see it again!❤

I just looked up that pregnant doll, and if you touch the heart on mum's dress, you can feel the heart beat. And the baby really drinks and wets. (according to the box). Love watching your videos, makes me laugh. :)

Okay, so there is no battery area for the heart. I think how why you feel the heart beat is you are feeling your pulse in your finger when you push on that satin like fabric. Idk it is strange but I do feel the heartbeat from my finger when touching the heart. LOL

My cousin got a preggerz knock-off barbie for Christmas sometime around 1990. :D Lovely suitcase! I have a chair I inherited from my grandma, a huge reading corner situation, which has a similar plush pattern, in cream, dark greens and old rose. Unfortunately it was my cats' favourite illegal scratching post, even after I put cat-away on it. X( Poor thing's all scratched up, with threads hanging off it. BTW, I love your shirt!
