Absolutely no idea. Maybe something in chat can clue you in, but i am completely unaware. Seems like a current event, probably involving a celebrity of sorts. If they are all so receptive to the joke, then it was 100% discussed in an earlier segment or a recent show.

Hearing them discuss Willy Wonka whole clearly having never read the book, (i get the feeling they dont even know it exists), is slightly aggravating. ALL the kids survived, and I clearly remember seeing them in the movie, although it may have been a deleted scene. I wonder how many of them know about the sequal with the Vermicious Knids.

I'm not saying I disagree about you having the right to defend yourself - that said: the idea that you have no options but to attack anyone who invades your home is just stupid. I say this as someone who was robbed recently: J U S T L E A V E. Why on earth would you start a fight? Call the police, leave: there are plenty of better options than going strate to perminantly traumatizing yourself and anyone else preasent while at the same time killing someone for what might be making a one of mistake.

What if you live in an apartment, so you have one door and they're at the door. It's fight or flight and you cannot flight

Most robbers aren't there to kill you though - in fact almost none of them are. So it's fight/flight/neither. Upon discovery, most burglars leave. Even if they are actively aggressive - shut yourself in a room you can lock/baricade and call the police.

@@CountCristo Except it's not. If they were where they were supposed to be (i.e., not in your dwelling), there would be no assumption of violence. Entering your property without permission is an act of violence (at least in the sense that they are violating the proper order of things), therefore they initiated the violence before you do anything in defense.
