Not only government schools,even government offices. Government employees will reach the office around 11:30 noon and will close the office at 2:30/3pm.In between they will take break for 1hr...imagine public coming more than twice to complete simple work.The work which can be completed in a day,took 3,4 days to complete due to inefficiency of government employees.

The reality of every government schools in Nagaland . My older sister is govt teacher too. She live in a village for kids. Whenever she comes home she says she had to go back because she feel sorry for the village kids. She use to say kids come to school and stay inside the class even without teacher. The kids don’t go back home until the teacher ask too. My sis and some her staff can’t take classes for all the class. They only take for their subjects but they had to guide other classes to go back home or to take break. Please don’t apply for government jobs if you think you can’t live in village. Government jobs like Teachers and administrators can be posted anywhere. If you only wanna live in your comfort place then NEVER EVER APPLY FOR THESE JOBS. If you’re not ready to serve Nagas and if you’re not ready to teach the village students or students in general then STAY AWAY FROM THESE GOVERNMENT JOBS.

Two take away from this incident ( education department please note it). 1. Teacher's Attendance monitoring system need to be installed. ( The latest SMILE App was a flop program). 2. Teacher's quarter need to be built specially in a remote areas where house rent is not available. The posted teachers from other villages struggle for accommodation in rural remote areas. Thank you.

It is absolutely the teachers fault not being in school during the working day but the SMS also should do thier homework by complaining to the higher authority on time and immediately. They should also consider teachers inconvenience. How can 7 teachers teach 10 classrooms at a time,That is an impossible task. The department is at fault too. And the teachers are being blamed alone, That's unfair. In Nagaland the teachers are treated like criminals, condemned on all cornors but one should understand that the teachers are also human beings. Take note ..... There are thousand duties for the head teacher to performed. So many schools allow the head teachers to take a subject or two, still its tiring. From DEOs office to SDEO to EBRC to SAMAGRA to NECTAR etc in the district. Adding to the woes there are hundreds of submission duties. Now a days, lots of online trainings and offline duties other than classroom work is assigned to teachers by the department. Randomly bombarded from thousand directions to the school in general and the teachers in particular. Every engagement directed to the school by the different departments and NGOs apart from SE department are good intentioned programmes but the teachers are being suffocated and the actual teaching work is sidelined. NBSE should take control and verify whats going to the schools and from whom. Allow limited works to the school authority and the teachers. And allow classroom work to take the prominent place in the school other than online or offline activities.

Very shameful being a Govt. Servant. Transportation problem shouldn't be an excuse. Teachers should be stationed in their own posting place. If they can't perform and attain their duty, they should gracefully resign. Action should be initiated to the errant teachers.

Teachers should be present at their own posting place however unlike other departments who are posted in office at towns n cities, education department being communities it's also the responsibility of the VEC and villagers to construct a quarter for the teachers if at all they re to enforce on quality education at village level. This is a good innitiation by the village / range leaders against the irregularities of teachers . Yes they should realise their mistakes for the welfare of students and their future . This is not the only school facing this problem , there are many many schools left like cowsheds and teachers are living in second paradise most of the times and it seems there is no suitable law to check this old fashion , wake up Nagas 👍

They get Summer vacations winter vacations more than 1 month each besides national holidays and restricted Holidays. Have pity on Medical and Police Department. Whole year they get only 12 days casual leave with less salary comparing to Education department. So please please do your duties well.

I am a government teacher. Our school follows strict rules so as to maintain proper education system. Even teachers pay late fines every morning if we do not reach the school at certain stipulated time. I'm posted in remote place but that's how we run our school smoothly. Learn from us dear teachers😅

It's concerning that many government teachers send their children to expensive schools instead. Besides exposing the negligence of some teachers, why not do the reverse too? I am sure there will be other schools where teachers, along with their family members, have been sacrificing to uplift their schools. To my knowledge, the best example I can give is Champang Primary School.
