People will laugh at these slow noisy cars that don't have the range of the cheapest EV, in the future. Further YOU or any of the fanboys will NEVER ride in one of these Paganis so what's the point? At least you can buy a $100k Tesla that will blow the doors off this by more than a second in the quarter mile. But if you like losing and making noise.... better buy this quick!! ..... 🚗
@charliefrharper2 жыл бұрын
@@cuda426hemi you should definitely rethink you profile name. You obviously didn't get the slightest thing about our passion. It is NOT just about the speed. @cuda426hemi2 жыл бұрын
@@charliefrharper I went thru the muscle cars when I was a kid in the 70s - time to move on; the raw Gs of a Tesla can't be matched except by maybe a superbike; old 100 year old tech just doesn't do it anymore - time for real torque and speed, that's all. There will be no metric an ICE car is better at, only your subjective feeling about "passion" and I'm sure horse riders said the same thing when the noisy dirty as F cars came along to totally ruin the pastoral peace and passion of horse riding. Horse - the first autonomous vehicle - and now 100+ years later we are going autonomous again - though I draw the line there - I like Autopilot but only when I'm in city BS otherwise I like the immediate 100% torque on the twisties all day long......no lousy noise to drown out the wind and the sound of your rubber almost breaking free. It's done deal anyway - no use cryin' - gas cars won't be allowed to be registered soon - you have less than 20 years (less than 15 in CA and other States) to enjoy your NEW ICE car. It's OVAH. Like I said - not only haven't you enjoyed a Plaid but you won't enjoy the Pagani either so what's the point? It's like pissing into the wind. 🚗

144 decibels. Apparently the same as a jet fighter on full afterburner. Infernal! Someone told me it's best to hear it live from at least half a mile away. It's like a continuous explosion, louder than the loudest firecracker. The harmonic spectrum is crazy, there are layers of overtones. It sounds like it's revving to 18000 rpm!

Although I agree with you on the incredible sounds, when it comes to general car noises, I think it's something we could do mostly without. Also consider the vast majority of vehicles sound like crap and only a few expensive ones sound good. I don't remember the specific, but how they manage to produce that high pitched sound is by separating each exit exhaust, from 6 each bank, then 3 each to 2, continuing from 2 to 1, and combining at 3/4 to 4 hole at the end. And Inconal material also play a big role. To be more simple it's 12 - 4 - 2 - 1 - 4
@sveeny2 жыл бұрын
@@jeeewhyyypheee Very interesting inedeed! I suppose, many others don't do that 1. for cost reasons and 2. even if cost isn't an issue, for space reasons. Anyway, the result truly is the essence of why I'm so passionate about cars for decades.
