Yesterday, during the MIMO event 2022 at Monza circuit, I filmed Pagani's latest track-only hypercar; the 2022 Huayra R. The car had no exhaust restrictions and it sounded absolutely incredible! Hope you enjoy the video.

It will be a farewell symphony to the high-performance internal combustion engine as we know it. And with more than enough downforce to drive upside down as Gordan and our beloved engines throw the middle finger at EV's as they scream toward the pearly gates.

Fun tip for you, play it quieter. Doing so keeps your ears in overall a better state enabling you to hear the car better, because believe it or not this vehicle is producing sound across a very wide range of frequencies and your soon only going to hear the mids clearly, this has a lot of highs.

If you had the money to buy a Huayra R then you could afford a house where you’re nearest neighbours aren’t close to hear it! I’d love a Pagani Huayra Imola for the road and the Huayra R for the track but I can’t afford one but the noise I get from my M5 Competition (F90 model) on a cold start from the V8 especially on a winter’s day in Cornwall (born in Plymouth) still brings a smile to my face after 3yrs of ownership and even though it’s loud I’m lucky enough to have neighbours who live far away enough from my house not to hear it

@@charliefrharper I went thru the muscle cars when I was a kid in the 70s - time to move on; the raw Gs of a Tesla can't be matched except by maybe a superbike; old 100 year old tech just doesn't do it anymore - time for real torque and speed, that's all. There will be no metric an ICE car is better at, only your subjective feeling about "passion" and I'm sure horse riders said the same thing when the noisy dirty as F cars came along to totally ruin the pastoral peace and passion of horse riding. Horse - the first autonomous vehicle - and now 100+ years later we are going autonomous again - though I draw the line there - I like Autopilot but only when I'm in city BS otherwise I like the immediate 100% torque on the twisties all day long......no lousy noise to drown out the wind and the sound of your rubber almost breaking free. It's done deal anyway - no use cryin' - gas cars won't be allowed to be registered soon - you have less than 20 years (less than 15 in CA and other States) to enjoy your NEW ICE car. It's OVAH. When a 9k rpm v12 road hypercar has a real f1 sound than the f1 itself... This/Zonda R, the GMA T50, Aston Martin Valkryie/Vulcan, Apollo IE, Ferrari Fxxk/Fxx/812/ Superfast(Straight piped)/599xx Evo/F12, and Lamborghini SCV12/Aventador SVJ(Straight piped)/Murcielago SV are the best sounding v12s of Modern Era since 1990's Edit 1: I gotta admit dat, I'm a fanboi of this car tbh. What an incredibly beautiful looking AND sounding machine! An absolute WEAPON on the track! No catalytic converters, no resonators, no mufflers, just straight pipes. @@joe125ful heard in the past. Just checked them both again. FXX and Vulcan do not seem to rev to the level this does or LFA. Unless it is just the drivers changing up too soon. Pagani revs higher, sounds more like a 90s F1 very much like the LFA. I have just listened to this Pagani again and it is on another level compared to the more restricted revs of the FXX and Vulcan sound. The Pagani screams.

Screamer and high pitch like the V12 f1 days, I love the Zonda R to death but man the Huayra R with its looks and sound left me with no choice but to say is better than the Zonda R

The R finally lost some of the visual volume and thiccnes which bothers me with the Standard Huayra. It still seems a little Bulbous, but a bit thick of neck doesn't hurt anybody. And those mate white Exhaust pipes... Gosh I'm drooling. The Zonda is just so timeless, I like every single version of it.

A me non piace moltissimo perchè quado comincia a lavorare lo scarico a 8/9000 giri non sembra più un suono naturale, non so se mi spiego. Sembra che stia facendo 20 000 giri . Boh non mi convince del tutto. Capiamoci non dico che non sia piacevole da sentire , anzi è un esempio di come certe auto devono cantare.

Although I agree with you on the incredible sounds, when it comes to general car noises, I think it's something we could do mostly without. Also consider the vast majority of vehicles sound like crap and only a few expensive ones sound good. To put up with all that crappy noises just to eventually be able to hear some mechanical music, well, I'd pass on that.
